Andrew Cuomo significantly in Democratic primary support, and most voters think he should resign from his position as mayor. Adams also holds a disapproval rating of 67%, with only 20% of voters saying they approve of his job as mayor. The pollster said Adams&rsquo;s approval rating was the lowest of any New York City mayor since it began polling city voters roughly three decades ago.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Unpopular even before an indictment on federal corruption charges, voters&rsquo; confidence in Mayor Adams sinks to a new low now that his legal case has become a national controversy,&rdquo; Quinnipiac University Poll Assistant Director Mary Snow said in a statement on the findings.<\/p>\n<p>For the Democratic primary for mayor, the pollster found that 31% supported Cuomo compared to 11% who supported Adams.
