The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-media-outlets-that-gave-a-pass-to-black-lives-matter-and-antifa-violence\/\" title=\"The Media Outlets That Gave A Pass To Black Lives Matter And Antifa Violence\">fire burned<\/a> for 24 days, consuming over 14,000 acres, damaging more than 9,400 structures, and leading to \u206317 fatalities,\u200b while displacing approximately 10,000 \u2063residents.<\/p>\n<p>The county\u2064 claims to possess\u2063 evidence, including photographic and witness accounts, indicating \u2063that SCE&#8217;s equipment, particularly its exposed power lines in areas\u2062 with vegetation, sparked the blaze. The\u2062 lawsuit asserts that\u2064 SCE failed to maintain its vegetation clearance and did not deactivate its electrical circuits during severe\u2063 wind conditions \u2062and a Red\u2063 Flag Warning \u2063prior to the fire.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">legal \u200caction aims<\/a> to recover costs and damages that the county estimates could reach hundreds of millions of dollars. County Counsel Dawyn R. Harrison said in a statement she is &ldquo;committed to seeking justice for the Altadena community and the taxpayers of Los Angeles County.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>SCE stock took a hit in the weeks following the fires.
