DJ, who has \u2062<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">battled brain cancer adn<\/a> has undergone\u2062 numerous\u2064 surgeries, dreams\u200c of becoming \u200ba police officer. Trump\u200c made him an honorary \u200bSecret Service agent, turning his dream \u200cinto reality. However, this gesture was met \u200cwith criticism from MSNBC hosts, including\u2062 Rachel Maddow and Nicole Wallace, who described it as &#8220;disgusting&#8221; and linked\u200d it to the \u200bjanuary 6 Capitol riots. After recognizing him, the president gave him a night he would soon not forget, helping Daniel achieve a lifelong dream to serve and protect others.<\/p>\n<p>Daniel is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-tom-brady-surprises-10-year-old-brain-cancer-survivor-with-super-bowl-tickets\/\" title=\"WATCH: Tom Brady Surprises 10-Year-Old Brain ... with Super Bowl Tickets\">brain cancer survivor<\/a> who wanted to be a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/police\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">police<\/a> officer when he grew up. Yet, because of his medical condition, it was uncertain if Daniel, 13, would ever be able to do so. As the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3337449\/trump-curran-dj-daniel-honorary-secret-service-agent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>, when Daniel was initially diagnosed with cancer, he was only given five months to live. She tried to link the moment to the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol in Washington, D.C., from 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I hope he&rsquo;s alive for another 95 years,&rdquo; Wallace began. &ldquo;And I hope he lives the life he wants to live. He wants to be a cop. He knows what he wants to do. And maybe when you have childhood cancer, that crystalizes for you. And I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3337525\/trump-address-congress-fight-jeering-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">TRUMP TAKES FIGHT TO JEERING DEMOCRATS IN SPEECH FULL OF RED MEAT<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;But I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump supporters,&rdquo; Wallace inexplicably added, linking two events that were not related in any way. &ldquo;And if he does, I hope he isn&rsquo;t one of the six who loses his life to suicide. And I hope he isn&rsquo;t one that has to testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then lived to see Donald Trump pardon those people.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The sour attitude of the MSNBC commentators seemed to match that of the Democrats who attended Trump&rsquo;s speech.
