authorities <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/arsonist-sets-fire-tesla-charging-stations-police\/story?id=119417919\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">said<\/a>. &ldquo;Responding officers observed that several Tesla charging stations were engulfed in flames and heavy, dark smoke.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A week prior, a Colorado woman was arrested after allegedly setting devices at a Tesla showroom on fire.<\/p>\n<p>And just a few days before that incident, a Tesla showroom in Oregon was struck with gunfire. In January, that same showroom faced an arson attack, which coincided with President Donald Trump&rsquo;s inauguration that Musk attended. Authorities have not discovered a motive, but they said the timing of the attack raises suspicions.<\/p>\n<p>The Tesla attacks came in response to Musk&rsquo;s rise to political power and unofficial leadership of the Department of Government Efficiency. Musk has been involved in cutting federal funding for programs such as child nutrition, igniting widespread protests.<\/p>\n<p>However, anti-Musk violence and protests are not isolated to the U.S. Destructive protests have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-14459107\/Tesla-showroom-torched-arson-attack-France-550-000-cars-destroyed-amid-growing-fury-Europe-Elon-Musks-EU-meddling-Trump-Ukraine-funding-row.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">occurred <\/a>in France and Germany in response to Musk&rsquo;s vocal support of right-wing European political parties.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Musk or Us: Tesla Town Halls&rdquo; is a campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1W0J4ZqFN40-9oNeRZXNqH3O6brlBwJWWKVGf15dSdGc\/preview?tab=t.0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">created<\/a> to inform people how to protest Musk&rsquo;s influence over the federal government. The organization gives instructions on how people can organize a protest at a Tesla showroom or SpaceX facility.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To fight back, we have to meet Musk where he operates &mdash; across the country at Tesla showrooms, factories, and dealerships,&rdquo; the campaign&rsquo;s tool kit says. &ldquo;A Tesla protest is a powerful way to expose his deep ties to the Trump coup and demand accountability.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3228769\/elon-musk-government-role-ethical-conundrums\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>ELON MUSK&rsquo;S NEW GOVERNMENT ROLE COULD RAISE ETHICAL CONUNDRUMS<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The protest campaign accused Musk of &ldquo;dismantling democracy.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;After spending over $250 million to help elect Donald Trump, Elon Musk is now collecting on his investment,&rdquo; the tool kit says. &ldquo;The world&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">richest man isn&#038;rsquo<\/a>;t just enabling Trump &mdash; he&rsquo;s an unelected billionaire seizing control of government power for his own gain.
