Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3330055\/minerals-trump-ukraine-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"has said\">has said<\/a> this agreement, which has yet to be made public, helps pay back the U.S. for its military aid to Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Waltz appeared Monday on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>America&rsquo;s Newsroom<\/em>, the day before Trump will give his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3334692\/trump-joint-address-congress-facts-expectations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"first speech\">first speech<\/a> to Congress of his second term. Ukraine sharing its reserves of titanium, lithium, beryllium, manganese, gallium, uranium, zirconium, graphite, apatite, fluorite, and nickel with the U.S. could bind the countries &ldquo;together economically for a generation,&rdquo; according to Waltz.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re ready to enter into those negotiations,&rdquo; Waltz said. &ldquo;Is President Zelensky? And we&rsquo;ll test both sides in terms of their willingness to compromise to get this deal done.
