I love you, mama,&rdquo; Simpson reportedly sobbed in court.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.<\/p>\n<p>Simpson will be charged as an adult under a new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/orange-glow-appears-horizon-north-carolina-biden-admin-blame\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">North Carolina<\/a> law allowing 16 and 17-year-olds to be charged accordingly for certain crimes, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qcnews.com\/news\/u-s\/north-carolina\/gaston-county\/teen-charged-with-gastonia-murder-denied-bond-at-first-hearing-case-using-new-nc-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Queen City News<\/a> in North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This is what&rsquo;s going to happen.
