Justice finally won out. I did absolutely nothing wrong. This was merely an attack on a political opponent that, obviously, did not work well.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Justice in our Country will now be restored.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>There is really no reasonable standard to defend the FBI&rsquo;s raid on Trump&rsquo;s home in the Mar-a-Lago Club, no matter what Merrick Garland, the then<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/actress-sarah-paulson-talks-finding-the-humanity-in-clinton-whistleblower-linda-tripp\/\" title=\"Actress Sarah Paulson Talks \u2018Finding The Humanity\u2019 In Clinton Whistleblower Linda Tripp\">-attorney general<\/a> who approved it, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/conservative-media-executive-nails-panicking-doj-3-big-mar-lago-lies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wanted to claim<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The same Justice Department that was willing in 2022 to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tight-job-market-sees-irs-facing-uphill-battle-to-hire-87000-staff\/\" title=\"Tight Job Market Sees IRS Facing Uphill Battle to Hire 87,000 Staff\">send armed agents<\/a> to the home of a former president on the pretext that national security was somehow threatened by his possession of government documents from his time in office did not seem at all concerned that then-President Joe Biden had done the same thing &mdash; over a much longer period of time.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, remember, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/selective-prosecution-trump-calls-hypocrisy-biden-not-charged-classified-documents-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kept boxes of documents<\/a> after he left the vice presidency at his home in Wilmington, Delaware, in a garage next to his prized <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/joe-biden-caught-huge-lie-photographic-proof-shows-hunter-dads-corvette-pivotal-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1967 Corvette<\/a>. Whatever affection Biden felt for the car, it doesn&rsquo;t remotely compare to the security that surrounded Trump&rsquo;s documents at Mar-a-Lago.<\/p>\n<p>Yet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/transcript-bidens-infamous-special-counsel-interview-released-even-worse-previously-thought\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden was excused<\/a> from potential prosecution on the on the grounds that potential jurors would see him, in the memorable words of special counsel Robert Hur, as a &ldquo;sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Trump on the other hand, faced federal indictments and potential incarceration.<\/p>\n<p>The years since 2020 have seen a barrage of legalized warfare against Trump &mdash; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/legal-expert-jonathan-turley-provides-ray-hope-trump-guilty-verdict-case-will-reversed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sham conviction<\/a> in the New York &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">hush money&#038;rdquo<\/a>; case, the sham civil suits against him in New York (brought by New York Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-legal-team-fantastic-day-court-battles-draconian-454-million-fraud-judgement-brought-letitia-james\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Letitia James<\/a> and former advice columnist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-trump-comes-face-face-e-jean-carroll-federal-court-appeals-ridiculous-ruling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E. Jean Carroll<\/a>), the sham <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/conservatives-mock-historic-meltdown-da-fani-willis-hearing-deciding-removal-trump-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RICO prosecution<\/a> in Georgia, the sham <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/jack-smiths-evidence-made-public-judge-chutkans-election-interference-decision\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&ldquo;election interference&rdquo; case<\/a> in D.C.<\/p>\n<p>But even in that context, the FBI raid on Trump&rsquo;s home was a disgraceful stain on the justice system.<\/p>\n<p>(The specter of federal agents rooting through a former first lady&rsquo;s underwear drawer is a scene for banana republics, not the country the Founders envisioned.)<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, thanks to the grace of God and the good sense of the American electorate, the 2024 election returned Trump to the presidency, and the documents that were supposed to relegate him to dustbin of history are going to be part of a different kind of history &mdash; as materials in the presidential library that will someday tell the story of one of the most consequential presidencies in the life of the Republic.<\/p>\n<p>Any American who supports Trump should be smiling at the news. Heck, any American who cares about a country with a single standard of justice should be glad at the turn of events.<\/p>\n<p>But Trump is getting the last laugh.
