Defenders have long argued that transgender procedures are needed to improve the mental health of patients and prevent them from committing suicide.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3319863\/judge-deals-temporary-blow-trump-transgender-youth-order\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Judge deals temporary blow to Trump transgender youth order\">JUDGE DEALS TEMPORARY BLOW TO TRUMP TRANSGENDER YOUTH ORDER<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, one of the largest studies of its kind, <a href=\"https:\/\/academic.oup.com\/jsm\/advance-article-abstract\/doi\/10.1093\/jsxmed\/qdaf026\/8042063?login=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"published\">published<\/a> in <em>The Journal of Sexual Medicine<\/em> on Monday, found the opposite regarding transgender surgeries.
