That spectacle, needless to say, struck many X users as disrespectful in the extreme.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Bondi released a letter addressed to new FBI Director Kash Patel. In that letter, she indicated that the FBI had deceived her by presenting only part of the Epstein-related evidence. She demanded delivery of all remaining materials by 8:00 a.m. EST Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, later in the day on X, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/kash-delivers-earthshaking-response-fbi-tries-trick-bondi-misleading-epstein-files\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Patel<\/a> pledged transparency and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Watters reviewed all of these developments in the first half of Thursday&rsquo;s segment.<\/p>\n<p>Then, the host turned his attention to the situation in New York.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;So who&rsquo;s in charge at the New York FBI Field Office?&rdquo; Watters asked. &ldquo;Who&rsquo;s withholding Epstein docs from the attorney general?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Watters then identified James Dennehy as the head of that office. In a recent , Dennehy told his staff to &ldquo;dig in&rdquo; in defiance of Trump, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/02\/02\/us\/politics\/fbi-new-york--trump.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And don&rsquo;t forget that James Comey&rsquo;s daughter is an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York,&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fact-check-jesse-watters-turn-doge-absolutely-not\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Watters<\/a> added. &ldquo;She worked on the Epstein and Maxwell cases.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In 2022, United States Circuit Judge Alison J. Nathan sentenced Ghislane Maxwell, Epstein&rsquo;s former girlfriend and co-conspirator, to 20 years in prison for &ldquo;conspiracy to entice minors to travel to engage in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-ghislaine-maxwell-attorney-defends-op-ed-saying-her-charges-should-be-dropped-like-bill-cosbys\/\" title=\"Former Ghislaine Maxwell Attorney Defends Op-Ed Saying Her Charges Should Be Dropped Like Bill Cosby\u2019s\">illegal sex acts<\/a>, conspiracy to transport minors to participate in illegal sex acts, transporting a minor to participate in illegal sex acts, sex trafficking conspiracy, and sex trafficking of a minor,&rdquo; per the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/usao-sdny\/pr\/ghislaine-maxwell-sentenced-20-years-prison-conspiring-jeffrey-epstein-sexually-abuse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. Attorney&rsquo;s Office of SDNY<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Maxwell remains in prison. But the FBI has shown no interest in unraveling that &ldquo;conspiracy.&rdquo; After all, to whom did <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/epstein-clients-panic-trumps-new-ag-pick-argued-doj-release-epstein-client-list\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Epstein<\/a> and Maxwell traffick those young girls? To date, the Bureau has arrested no one.<\/p>\n<p>Watters rightfully wondered why.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Jeffrey Epstein did act as an informant to the FBI,&rdquo; the host said. &ldquo;Is the Bureau embarrassed? Is the Bureau embarrassed that they let hundreds of young victims down?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Epstein was probably an intelligence asset, rumored to be working with the Israelis, maybe this country, probably other countries,&rdquo; Watters added. &ldquo;Was he a double agent? He had dirt on everyone and a knack for making cash.
