He can take a nap and let this foreigner, foreign agent, you know, an enemy of the United States, do his job,&rdquo; Behar said on ABC&rsquo;s &ldquo;The View&rdquo; Thursday after falsely claiming Musk was &ldquo;pro-apartheid.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sUil4swvios?si=K1C83BSOEIoNQsFl&amp;start=254\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, our illustrious lawmakers have launched their own attacks on Musk, with some implying that he is a secret <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/aoc-latest-claim-elon-used-nazi-gesture-quickly-gets-reminded-hypocrisy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nazi<\/a> and others simply spewing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rep-crockett-wanted-charge-communications-house-dems-two-word-message-musk-f-off\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">obscenities<\/a> at the mere mention of his name.<\/p>\n<p>One would think they learned their lesson after Trump was almost killed following nearly a decade of vicious attacks from these same people.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, they continue to vilify anyone on the right, while people like Cherry prowl social media, issuing serious threats against the objects of their ire.<\/p>\n<p>According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/02\/26\/us-news\/troll-arrested-for-threatening-to-gut-elon-musk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post<\/a>, Cherry made several posts on X, formerly Twitter, about harming Musk over his role in the government.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re gunning you down, Muskrat,&rdquo; Cherry reportedly posted on Dec. 6.<\/p>\n<p>On Jan. 22, Cherry replied to a post from international lowlife <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/not-good-trumps-new-counselor-tells-violent-pornographer-andrew-tate-big-fan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Andrew Tate<\/a> by saying that he had &ldquo;enough bullets for his b&mdash;- a&ndash; and all the rest of you manchildren.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Cherry would strike again on Feb. 3 with two separate intimidating posts directed at Musk.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You&rsquo;ve broken the law. You&rsquo;re on the hit list,&rdquo; he wrote to the billionaire.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You&rsquo;re robbing the American people. We will gut you and parade your corpse through the streets,&rdquo; Cherry wrote later that same day.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry&rsquo;s final post came on Feb. 16. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m going to plant a bomb in Elon Musk&rsquo;s house,&rdquo; Cherry wrote, which finally prompted Texas authorities to track Cherry&rsquo;s phone to an Indiana town close to the Kentucky border.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wave3.com\/2025\/02\/21\/palmyra-man-charged-threatening-bomb-elon-musks-home-x-post\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WAVE-TV<\/a>, Cherry was slapped with intimidation charges over the posts. He was released on a $2,500 bond and his X account has been suspended.<\/p>\n<p>Cherry&rsquo;s defense attorney, Bart Betteau, attempted to turn this into a matter of free speech.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Political speech has kind of the highest place in our constitutional hierarchy of what&rsquo;s allowed, and there&rsquo;s no question what the state says may have happened would be political speech,&rdquo; Betteau said.<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s a stretch even for a lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>This case should serve as a cautionary tale.<\/p>\n<p>Those who hate Musk may not necessarily be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sen-dick-durbin-thinks-free-speech-only-means-speech-he-agrees-with\/\" title=\"Sen. Dick Durbin Thinks Free Speech Only Means Speech He Agrees With\">inciting political violence<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, by their exaggerated claims, they&rsquo;re certainly making the case for these unhinged individuals, who then offer the same arguments while threatening or even committing violence.<\/p>\n<p>This was seen in 2017 when a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">leftist gunman opened fire<\/a> on Republican lawmakers at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/scalise-reacts-cnns-don-lemon-says-dont-see-democrats-killing-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congressional Baseball Game<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It happened again in 2022 when a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/armed-man-allegedly-wanted-kill-brett-kavanaugh-arrested-near-supreme-court-justices-home\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gunman<\/a> showed up near the home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh because he was angry at the draft decision overturning Roe v.
