We have arranged for a different aircraft to take our customers to Las Vegas this morning,&rdquo; the statement said.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Newark had been the site of two previous United Airlines flights that made emergency stops Jan. 18 and Jan. 25, WPIX reported.<\/p>\n<p>The plane in Tuesday&rsquo;s incident was a Boeing 757-200, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/02\/25\/us-news\/united-airlines-flight-makes-emergency-landing-at-newark-airport\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York Post.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The plane had 176 passengers and six crew members aboard, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/united-airlines-flight-forced-make-emergency-landing-newark\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The incident comes on the heels of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/american-airlines-flight-diverted-escorted-fighter-jets-possible-security-issue\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">multiple incidents<\/a> impacting airlines.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, a Delta Air Lines jet that had taken off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, was forced to return to Atlanta after what was called a haze filled the passenger cabin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7jfz3ks0005356mntlwq6bu@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\" data-analytics-observe=\"off\">Passenger Kristin Morris said the plane had only been in the air five to 10 minutes when the haze began, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/02\/24\/us\/delta-flight-haze-evacuation-emergency\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph inline-placeholder vossi-paragraph\" data-uri=\"cms.cnn.com\/_components\/paragraph\/instances\/cm7jh53xm000b356mrmpyanxo@published\" data-editable=\"text\" data-component-name=\"paragraph\" data-article-gutter=\"true\" data-analytics-observe=\"off\">&ldquo;A few of us passengers started to question why or what was going on.
