Footage from inside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/aviation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">aircraft<\/a> taken by a passenger shows them surrounded by clouded air.<\/p>\n<p>    <iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/i0vr0QTdI2c?si=isa2cF5E082ylkUh\" title=\"YouTube video player\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>    <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The flight crew followed procedures to return to Atlanta when a haze inside the aircraft was observed after departure,&rdquo; said a statement on flight DL876 that Delta gave to the <em>Washington Examiner<\/em>. &ldquo;Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people, and we apologize to our customers for the experience.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A total of 94 passengers were aboard the plane, along with two pilots and a trio of flight attendants.&nbsp;No one was injured.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3326763\/tourism-returns-israel-ceasefire\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">TOURISM BEGINS RETURNING TO ISRAEL FOLLOWING CEASEFIRE DEAL<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>DL876&rsquo;s return to its origin airport came as air travel has been under increased scrutiny in recent weeks, specifically due to recent airline accidents such as the midair collision at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3305297\/multiple-difficulties-have-surrounded-reagan-national-airport-fatal-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport<\/a> last month.
