John Hoeven (R-N.D.) that would repeal a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3226933\/epa-methane-fee-trump-threatens-biden-climate-rules\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">methane emissions fee<\/a> finalized toward the end of the Biden administration, according to a source familiar with the floor schedule. The measure is expected to pass and advance to the Republican-controlled House.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution is one of a number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3324716\/house-leadership-target-list-biden-climate-rules-cancel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Biden-era climate regulations<\/a> that congressional Republicans will seek to dismantle in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the privileged nature of CRAs, Democrats can offer them, too, and force a floor vote. One from Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/119th-congress\/senate-joint-resolution\/10\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">terminate<\/a> Trump&rsquo;s executive order <a href=\"https:\/\/www.presidency.ucsb.edu\/documents\/executive-order-14156-declaring-national-energy-emergency\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">declaring a national energy emergency<\/a> will be brought to the floor by Feb. 28.
