came from a misunderstanding of President Donald Trump&rsquo;s executive orders tackling gender ideology.<\/p>\n<p>While the FDA suggested that no list of banned words exists, the White House said that to remain compliant with Trump&rsquo;s orders, the agency must not use words such as gender, inclusion, identity, diversity, inter, intersex, equity, equitable, transgender, and trans.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> reached out to the White House for clarification.<\/p>\n<p>According to the list circulating at the FDA, the following words were banned without explanation: Underrepresented, underserved, understudied, sex, identity, diverse, women, woman, promote, definition, continuum, ideology, self-assessed, special populations, elderly, and disabled.<\/p>\n<p>Two FDA sources told <em>Reuters<\/em> that their colleagues claimed the list originated within the Center for Devices and Radiological Health.<\/p>\n<p>While the White House denied the legitimacy of the list of prohibited words, one FDA source said that banning them &ldquo;would make it almost impossible to do our jobs.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3292730\/all-executive-orders-actions-trump-first-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong>LIST: THE EXECUTIVE ORDERS, ACTIONS, AND PROCLAMATIONS TRUMP HAS MADE AS PRESIDENT<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since taking office, Trump has issued several executive orders <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/about\/news\/2025\/02\/19\/hhs-takes-action-president-trumps-executive-orders-defending-women-children.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">aimed<\/a> at &ldquo;bringing back common sense and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-judge-blocks-transgender-inmate-prison-transfer-after-trump-order-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Federal judge blocks trans... inmate prison transfer after Trump order - Washington Examiner\">restoring biological truth<\/a> to the federal government,&rdquo;
