I don&rsquo;t know what&rsquo;s going on.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The Air Force contracted Boeing to supply the planes in 2018 with the expectation that they&rsquo;d be delivered by 2024.<\/p>\n<p>However, a combination of factors, such as a worker shortage during the pandemic and one of Boeing&rsquo;s major suppliers falling behind schedule, pushed the project to a completion date of 2028 and forced Boeing to incur $2.4 billion in losses on the $4.3 billion contract.
