America&rsquo;s Golden Age must have a fair Justice System &ndash; THAT BEGINS TODAY!&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>There are 93 U.S. attorneys nationwide. It&rsquo;s not uncommon for U.S. attorneys to step down from their positions following an administration change, and several <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3241018\/adams-prosecutor-damian-williams-resigns-trump-selection-incoming\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">have done so<\/a>, but terminations<a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/trump-says-he-has-instructed-doj-terminate-all-remaining-biden-era-us-attorneys-2025-02-18\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> are less common<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Trump often alleged the Biden Justice Department was &ldquo;weaponized&rdquo; against him during his run for president in 2024, claims the former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/comedian-rob-schneider-reveals-hilarious-love-hate-relationship-with-trump\/\" title=\"Rob Schneider hilariously shares his love-hate bond with ....\">president vehemently denied<\/a>. The department investigated Trump in his election inference and classified documents case.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration has<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/justice-department\/trump-administration-fires-doj-officials-worked-criminal-investigation-rcna189512\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> fired many prosecutors<\/a> involved in investigating him. Late last month, then-acting Attorney General James McHenry said that he &ldquo;does not trust these officials to assist in faithfully implementing the President&rsquo;s agenda. This action is consistent with the mission of ending the weaponization of government.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A letter sent to the fired employees cited their role in prosecuting Trump. &ldquo;You played a significant role in prosecuting President Trump,&rdquo; the letter said. &ldquo;The proper functioning of government critically depends on the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">trust superior officials place<\/a> in their subordinates.&nbsp;Given your significant role in prosecuting the president, I do not believe that the leadership of the department can trust you to assist in implementing the president&rsquo;s agenda faithfully.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Trump appointed the now-Senate-confirmed Pam Bondi to be his attorney general.<\/p>\n<p>One of Bondi&rsquo;s early moves included pressuring Southern District of New York acting U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon to drop the corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
