Sustainability is about being more efficient in our operations,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And really DE&amp;I is about talent, and that&rsquo;s been our focus. And of course, the key differentiator at Delta is our people,&rdquo; Carter insisted.<\/p>\n<p>Social media users criticized those comments after the crash, noting that the DEI movement tends to distract companies from hiring according to merit.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Delta is one of the last remaining DEI airlines,&rdquo; one user <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MrAustinRogers\/status\/1891607083067314431\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>. &ldquo;A disgrace.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Delta is one of my favorite airlines to use, but why with DEI?&rdquo; another <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BaldyHonest\/status\/1891607392875389436\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commented<\/a>. &ldquo;There&rsquo;s already <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/retired-nfl-player-calls-for-separate-transgender-category-of-sports-after-biden-executive-order\/\" title=\"Retired NFL Player Calls For Separate Transgender Category Of Sports After Biden Executive Order\">anti-discrimination laws<\/a> in effect.
