Zeldin accused Biden&#8217;s EPA of hastily distributing these \u200bfunds before the Trump Administration could take over, possibly wasting taxpayer dollars. The \u2064funds\u200b are currently held \u2062by\u2062 an outside \u200cfinancial institution, and\u2064 Zeldin is working \u200bto recover them, emphasizing the need for clarity on how these funds were distributed and to\u2064 whom.<\/p>\n<p>Zeldin identified various organizations receiving this funding, including the Climate United Fund and the Coalition for Green\u200c Capital, which have expressed support \u200bfor Biden&#8217;s climate policies and promote initiatives with social\u200c equity components. The secretary is working to take back $20 billion in taxpayer dollars that Biden&rsquo;s EPA shuttled to &ldquo;climate&rdquo; groups that share close ties with the left.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Roughly $20 billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial institution by the Biden EPA,&rdquo; Zeldin <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/epaleezeldin\/status\/1889840040622321778\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> in a video Feb. 12. &ldquo;This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history, and it was purposefully designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s EPA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/newsreleases\/biden-harris-administration-announces-20-billion-grants-mobilize-private-capital-and\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">funneled $20 billion<\/a> to eight &ldquo;climate&rdquo; groups last year, according to a press release. Zeldin referred to a Project Veritas video from December, in which a Biden EPA staffer <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Project_Veritas\/status\/1863960384513753213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">admitted<\/a> the agency was trying to &ldquo;get the money out as fast as possible before they [the Trump Administration] come in &hellip; It&rsquo;s like we&rsquo;re on the Titanic and we&rsquo;re throwing gold bars off the edge.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The &lsquo;gold bars&rsquo; were tax dollars. And &lsquo;tossing them off the Titanic&rsquo; meant the Biden administration knew they were wasting it,&rdquo; Zeldin said in the video. &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve directed my team to find your gold bars, and they found them. How much money have they given out so far, and to whom?&rdquo; Zeldin asked. &ldquo;Are there any former Biden EPA staffers who are now working at these entities?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The funding is currently &ldquo;parked at an outside financial institution,&rdquo; and it is unclear how much money has been disbursed to these radical &ldquo;climate&rdquo; groups. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The financial agent agreement with the bank needs to be instantly terminated and the bank must immediately return all of the gold bars that the Biden Administration tossed off the Titanic,&rdquo; Zeldin said in a statement to The Federalist. &ldquo;EPA needs to reassume responsibility for all of these funds. We will review every penny that has gone out the door.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<h2>Bankrolling Pro-Leftist Groups<\/h2>\n<p>The EPA&rsquo;s &ldquo;National Clean Investment Fund&rdquo; made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/national-clean-investment-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grants<\/a> to three &ldquo;climate groups&rdquo; friendly with the left &mdash; the Climate United Fund, Coalition for Green Capital, and Power Forward Communities.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When the Climate United Fund was designated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/national-clean-investment-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nearly $7 billion<\/a>, the group said at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/national-clean-investment-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">60 percent<\/a> of its &ldquo;investments&rdquo; would be in &ldquo;low-income and disadvantaged communities.&rdquo; The group supports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/organization\/climate-united-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Biden&rsquo;s policies<\/a>, according to InfluenceWatch. It also supports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/organization\/justice40\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Justice 40<\/a>, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/finally-the-who-what-and-why-of-scott-smith-and-his-daughters-rape\/\" title=\"Finally! The \u2018Who, What, and Why\u2019 of Scott Smith and His Daughter\u2019s Rape\">advances critical race theory<\/a> in the federal government, and has emphasized &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/weareclimateunited.org\/upcoming-events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Building Equity through the Clean Energy Transition<\/a>.&rdquo; As InfluenceWatch reported, the group&rsquo;s board includes former Democrat, union, and left-wing nonprofit officials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Coalition for Green Capital was set to receive<a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/national-clean-investment-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> $5 billion from the Biden EPA<\/a> to &ldquo;operate the first United States national green bank.&rdquo; Its staff aims to create a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/coalitionforgreencapital.com\/about-us\/cgc-staff\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">just and equitable<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-unveils-historic-green-initiatives-for-industrial-sector\/\" title=\"Biden Unveils \u2018Historic\u2019 Green Initiatives For Industrial Sector\">clean energy transition<\/a>.&rdquo; Its board of directors includes top officials from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/bezos-earth-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">left-wing<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/coalitionforgreencapital.com\/board-of-directors\/cecilia-martinez\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bezos Earth Fund<\/a>, the leftist labor <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/afl-cio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">behemoth<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/coalitionforgreencapital.com\/board-of-directors\/julie-greene-collier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">AFL-CIO<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/skoll-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shady<\/a> dark money group <a href=\"https:\/\/coalitionforgreencapital.com\/board-of-directors\/marla-blow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Skoll Foundation<\/a> that sponsors left-wing causes. According to InfluenceWatch, CGC is a &ldquo;left-of-center &lsquo;pass-through&rsquo; funding entity,&rdquo; which channels money from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-responds-to-report-that-anti-israel-campus-protests-are-funded-by-biden-donors\/\" title=\"Trump reacts to claims of Biden donors ... anti-Israel campus protests\">leftist donors including<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/rockefeller-brothers-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rockefeller Brothers Fund<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/mcknight-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">McKnight Foundation<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/ford-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ford Foundation<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Biden EPA also pledged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/national-clean-investment-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$2 billion<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/powerforwardcommunities.org\/\">Power Forward Communities<\/a>, which it said would go toward a &ldquo;national financing program.&rdquo; The group is &ldquo;dedicated to decarbonizing and transforming American housing,&rdquo; according to its website. PFC <a href=\"https:\/\/powerforwardcommunities.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">partners<\/a> with private and public entities nationwide, including the leftist union <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/tag\/american-federation-of-teachers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">American Federation of Teachers<\/a> and the other recipients of Biden&rsquo;s EPA funding: Climate United, the Justice Climate Fund, the Opportunity Finance Network, and Inclusiv.<\/p>\n<h2>Pushing Climate &lsquo;Equity&rsquo;<\/h2>\n<p>The Biden EPA&rsquo;s &ldquo;Clean Communities Investment Accelerator&rdquo; made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/clean-communities-investment-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grants<\/a> to five such groups &mdash; the Opportunity Finance Network, Inclusiv, the Justice Climate Fund, Appalachian Community Capital, and Native CDFI Network.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Opportunity Finance Network was promised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/clean-communities-investment-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$2.3 billion<\/a> to &ldquo;invest and reinvest&rdquo; in projects that &ldquo;reduce emissions of greenhouse gases and other air pollutants in low-income and disadvantaged communities.&rdquo; The group claims a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofn.org\/what-is-a-cdfi\/key-priorities\/climate-change-and-resilience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">climate gap<\/a>&rdquo; has hurt &ldquo;people of color and low-income communities,&rdquo; according to its website. The group also seeks to &ldquo;close the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ofn.org\/current-initiatives\/finance-justice-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">racial wealth gap<\/a>&rdquo; with its &ldquo;Finance Justice Fund,&rdquo; for which it &ldquo;partners&rdquo; with groups including the Bank of America, Charles Schwab, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation which, according to InfluenceWatch, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/w-k-kellogg-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bankrolls<\/a> left-wing causes.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s EPA promised <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/clean-communities-investment-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$1.87 billion<\/a> to Inclusiv, which planned to &ldquo;achieve a sweeping clean energy market transformation as a hub for the entire credit union movement &hellip; to engage in equitable climate finance.&rdquo; According to its website, Inclusiv pushes &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/inclusiv.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">financial inclusion and equity<\/a>.&rdquo; It manages a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/inclusiv.org\/services\/racial-equity-grant-fund\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Racial Equity<\/a> Grant Fund&rdquo; for &ldquo;Black and Brown people.&rdquo; It also runs a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/inclusiv.org\/financial-inclusion\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Financial Inclusion<\/a>&rdquo; program for &ldquo;low income and Black and Brown communities,&rdquo; and a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/inclusiv.org\/programs\/new-majority-growth-initiative\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Majority Growth Initiative<\/a>&rdquo; for &ldquo;people of color.&rdquo; Inclusiv is <a href=\"https:\/\/inclusiv.org\/our-partnerships\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">funded<\/a> by left-wing groups <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/john-d-and-catherine-t-macarthur-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MacArthur Foundation<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/organization\/hive-fund-for-climate-and-gender-justice-hive-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hive Fund For Climate and Gender Justice<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.influencewatch.org\/non-profit\/new-venture-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Venture Fund<\/a> of dark money giant Arabella Advisors.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s EPA also dumped <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/clean-communities-investment-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$940 million<\/a> into the Justice Climate Fund to &ldquo;create a clean and just energy transition&rdquo; in communities. According to the group&rsquo;s website, it &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.justiceclimatefund.org\/about\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">drive[s] transformative investments<\/a>.&rdquo; According to LinkedIn, Justice Climate Fund <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/amir-kirkwood-1544151\/details\/experience\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CEO Amir Kirkwood<\/a> previously worked as chief investment and network officer for the Opportunity Finance Network.<\/p>\n<p>The EPA granted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/clean-communities-investment-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$500 million<\/a> to Appalachian Community Capital to launch a &ldquo;Green Bank for Rural America,&rdquo; which would supposedly shuttle $1.6 billion into &ldquo;2,000 new energy projects.&rdquo; Its website shows projects <a href=\"https:\/\/greenbankforruralamerica.org\/project-examples\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">including<\/a> a fleet of electric buses, solar panels on a single grocery store, and solar panels for &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/greenbankforruralamerica.org\/project-example\/hbcu-community-development-action-coalition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Historically Black Colleges and Universities<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s EPA also funneled <a href=\"https:\/\/www.epa.gov\/greenhouse-gas-reduction-fund\/clean-communities-investment-accelerator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$400 million<\/a> into the Native CDFI Network, which said it would provide &ldquo;capital and technical support&rdquo; to community lenders.
