However, officials noted they did not have the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/profs-scoff-at-nikole-hannah-jones-tenure-suit\/\" title=\"Profs Scoff at Nikole Hannah-Jones Tenure Suit\">personal contact information<\/a> for these individuals. These employees were laid off on Thursday and lost access to their federal government email accounts, making it difficult for NNSA to directly reach them. It is part of the NNSA&rsquo;s responsibility to track nuclear risks in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This incident follows mass layoffs throughout federal agencies. In addition to the NNSA layoffs, the Department of Homeland Security also saw significant cuts, with more than 400 employees let go. These actions are part of a broader push by President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Donald-Trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a> and adviser Elon Musk to reduce the size of the federal workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The administration&rsquo;s efforts have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/desantis-falls-far-behind-trump-in-earning-womens-support-poll\/\" title=\"DeSantis lags Trump in gaining women&#039;s support: Poll.\">sparked significant opposition<\/a>, with Democrats, labor unions, and progressive groups voicing their concerns.
