Representatives Eli Crane (R-AZ) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) \u2064specifically target Judge Paul Engelmayer for his recent ruling that temporarily restricts Elon Musk\u200c and DOGE associates \u200cfrom accessing a\u2064 Treasury payment \u2064system. Eli Crane (R-AZ) and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) have pledged to hold Judge Paul Engelmayer of the Southern District of New York accountable after he ruled last weekend to temporarily restrict Elon Musk and DOGE aides from accessing a Treasury Department payment system. Has SEVERAL Paths To Victory\u2026\u201dNever count Donald Trump out!\u201d[VIDEO]\">activist judge<\/a> trying to stop the Trump administration from, you know, executing their, you know, Article 2 powers to make sure that the laws are faithfully executed,&rdquo; Crane shared of his impeachment plans for Engelmayer on the One America News Network.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Greene shared to the <em>Hill<\/em> that judges can&rsquo;t take away powers from Cabinet secretaries even though Elon Musk is not an official Cabinet member. However, the Justice Department argued that Engelmayer&rsquo;s order could be read to include restricting Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent&rsquo;s authority to share the department&rsquo;s payment system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They can&rsquo;t do that, especially when they have a serious record of Democrat activism and being hardcore against President Trump,&rdquo; Greene <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/house\/5146332-house-republicans-impeachment-judges-trump-musk-doge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">told<\/a> the Hill. &ldquo;So, yeah, judges like that, they definitely should be impeached.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) said he is writing up an impeachment resolution against Rhode Island District Judge John McConnell Jr. over his ruling which blocked the Trump administration&rsquo;s freeze on federal funding.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He&rsquo;s a partisan activist weaponizing our judicial system to stop President Trump&rsquo;s funding freeze on woke and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-top-republican-explains-how-bidens-budget-package-raises-taxes-hurts-working-class\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: Top Republican Explains How Biden\u2019s Budget Package Raises Taxes, Hurts Working Class\">wasteful government spending<\/a>,&rdquo; Clyde <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Rep_Clyde\/status\/1889725076888572100\">stated<\/a> on X on Wednesday. &ldquo;We must end this abusive overreach.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>House GOP leaders have been silent when it comes to talks of impeaching the judges. It would require near-unanimous support from House Republicans to impeach a judge without the support of Democrats.
