Trump, I am writing to inform you that your position as U.S. Attorney is terminated, effective immediately.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>U.S. attorneys &mdash; who are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kristen-clarke-confirmed-as-civil-rights-chief-at-justice-department\/\" title=\"Kristen Clarke Confirmed as Civil Rights Chief at ...\">political appointees confirmed<\/a> by the Senate &mdash; typically resign when a new president takes office, but it&rsquo;s customary for the incoming administration to ask for their resignations.<\/p>\n<p>Mass firings are not the norm, but given the fact that numerous Biden holdovers were involved in the sham prosecutions of Trump in recent years, it&rsquo;s not surprising the president wanted to quickly root out subversive agents who might obstruct his agenda.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>This was a huge problem during Trump&rsquo;s first term, when career employees across the bloated federal bureaucracy actively <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/secret-pact-22-democratic-ags-discovered-plot-defy-trump-exposed-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">worked to undermine<\/a> his goals.<\/p>\n<p>Predictably, Democrats and their liberal media minions screeched over the development, which is understandable when you consider that <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">numerous activist federal judges<\/a> have blocked a number of Trump executive actions.<\/p>\n<p>There are also dozens of federal lawsuits that have been filed challenging the president&rsquo;s executive orders.<\/p>\n<p>Trump has enough enemies outside the federal bureaucracy that are aggressively working to derail his America First agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Why should he &mdash; or any president &mdash; tolerate subversion or mutiny from within the ranks?<\/p>\n<p>To underscore this point, on Wednesday, interim New York U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon &mdash; ironically, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-trump-silences-cnns-kaitlan-collins-interrupts-executive-order-signing-ceremony\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> appointee &mdash; resigned after refusing a Trump directive.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The acting US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Danielle Sassoon, resigns after refusing to follow orders to drop the case against Mayor Eric Adams. There&rsquo;s too much at stake.<\/p>\n<p>The United States is buckling under the weight of an unprecedented <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wary-illegal-aliens-started-reverse-flow-trend-just-weeks-trump-admin-policies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">illegal immigration catastrophe<\/a>, crushing inflation, and terrifying crime waves.
