Roy explained that the judge&rsquo;s argument is that the president cannot offer buyout programs since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/congress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Congress<\/a> has authorized him to do so, which puzzled Roy since Trump is the chief executive of the government, which is similar to being the executive of a business.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And understand this: I was told yesterday by some friends of mine in the administration that they are finding rats, they are finding old files, they are finding phones that still have the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">pre-programmed numbers<\/a> from when Trump was in there four years ago, because nobody&rsquo;s been there!&rdquo; Roy said on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>The Faulkner Focus<\/em>. The congressman suggested that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/judge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">judges<\/a> &ldquo;interfering&rdquo; with Trump&rsquo;s agenda need to &ldquo;back off&rdquo; and allow the president to continue his duties.<\/p>\n<p>As of Friday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3313946\/over-65000-federal-employees-growing-take-trump-resignation-offer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">at least 65,000 federal employees<\/a> had taken the Trump administration&rsquo;s buyout offer, below the 100,000 to 200,000 employees it had expected. Besides extending the block on Trump&rsquo;s buyout offer, the administration has also dealt with a judicial decision to restore all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-appeals-after-judge-orders-him-to-undo-federal-spending-freeze\/\" title=\"... appeals after judge orders him to undo federal spending freeze\">previously frozen federal spending<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/mike-lee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Mike Lee<\/a> (R-UT) said on Monday night that Democrats are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3316507\/judges-causing-brief-delay-trump-agenda-mike-lee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">&ldquo;litigating and picking off a few liberal one-off judges&rdquo;<\/a> to slow Trump&rsquo;s progress since they lost the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/2024-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">2024 elections<\/a>.
