Out Of ...s\">alleged foreign election interference<\/a>, going so far as to spy on President Donald Trump&rsquo;s first campaign after making up false claims of foreign interference. Now Democrats in the Big Apple are begging the courts to let 800,000 noncitizens vote in local elections.<\/p>\n<p>New York&rsquo;s highest court will hear arguments on Tuesday in support of a 2022 law that would allow roughly 800,000 noncitizens to vote in municipal elections if they are a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/doj-investigating-spacexs-hiring-practices-after-non-u-s-citizen-alleges-discrimination\/\" title=\"DOJ Investigating SpaceX\u2019s Hiring Practices After Non-U.S. Citizen Alleges Discrimination\">lawful permanent resident<\/a> or authorized to work in the United States&rdquo; and have lived in New York City for at least a month. The law was previously struck down last February by the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/23\/null-and-void-court-declares-new-york-city-law-letting-noncitizens-vote-is-unconstitutional\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Second Judicial Department<\/a> in the appellate division of the state Supreme Court, with Justice Paul Wooten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycourts.gov\/courts\/AD2\/Handdowns\/2024\/Decisions\/D73920.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">holding<\/a> that the law was &ldquo;in violation of the New York State Constitution and Municipal Home Rule Law.&rdquo; The Second Judicial Department&rsquo;s decision upheld a previous decision by a lower court.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-261572797\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As noted in the ruling from the Second Judicial Department, the complaint argued that &ldquo;noncitizens could potentially make up 15% or more of the electorate in future elections &hellip; which is greater than the margin of victory in many municipal elections.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In short, Democrats want to allow noncitizens to vote and swing local elections. But Democrats spent years pretending to care about foreign election interference (that they made up). <\/p>\n<p>Russia collusion hoaxer Adam Schiff <a href=\"https:\/\/democrats-intelligence.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=1120\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> in 2021 that &ldquo;both parties must speak with one voice to disavow all interference in our elections. We must guard against and seek to deter all attempts at foreign interference, and ensure that American voters decide American elections.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>His comments came four years after his party used bogus information from the Hillary Clinton campaign to justify spying on President Donald Trump&rsquo;s first campaign and then to cast doubt on Trump&rsquo;s legitimate win. <\/p>\n<p>Then Vice-Presidential candidate Kamala Harris <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/virus-outbreak-election-2020-ap-top-news-ca-state-wire-politics-79be8d5f69b1bfbcc55dbaec3ca001e4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">worried<\/a> in 2020 that &ldquo;foreign interference&rdquo; would cost her and Joe Biden the election. <\/p>\n<p>Even the propaganda press pretended to care about foreign election interference.<\/p>\n<p>Politico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2024\/09\/07\/foreign-influence-2024-election-00177828\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> about the &ldquo;threats&rdquo; faced by campaigns from foreign election interference. CBS News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/house-democrats-pass-bill-to-prevent-foreign-interference-in-elections-trump-veto-today-2019-10-24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cheered<\/a> on Democrats in 2019 for pretending &ldquo;to better protect the country&rsquo;s elections from foreign interference.&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/08\/03\/politics\/foreign-election-interference-senate\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CNN<\/a> highlighted Democrats&rsquo; efforts to inform &ldquo;the public about foreign efforts to interfere in the US <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/are-covid-case-surges-more-fake-news\/\" title=\"Are COVID Case Surges More Fake News?\">presidential election<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>But now that <em>actual<\/em> foreign election interference stands to benefit Democrats, it&rsquo;s near radio silence from the left. <\/p>\n<p>Take <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2025\/02\/10\/ny-courtnoncitizen-voting-00203174\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Politico<\/a>, which calls the noncitizens &ldquo;documented noncitizens&rdquo; as if that makes their foreign election interference any less dangerous. Politico even had the gall to write that &ldquo;Trump and other Republicans have made the unfounded claim that noncitizens are illegally voting in large numbers,&rdquo; before detailing how the Big Apple is one of many cities seeking to allow noncitizens to vote.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is, Democrats exploited low-information voters in 2016 with their &ldquo;foreign election interference&rdquo; scare. They used it as justification for spying, impeachment, and character assassination.
