In reflecting on this latest bump to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/trump-administration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Trump administration<\/a>, Lee rebuked the judges for ruling against the administration&rsquo;s work with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/elon-musk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Elon Musk<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/department-of-government-efficiency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Department of Government Efficiency<\/a>, given how it is &ldquo;entirely within the purview of the executive branch.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;So the fact that they are doing this and they&rsquo;re doing it within what the law allows, this is where Democrats get upset, and they go running to the courts,&rdquo; Lee argued on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>The Ingraham Angle<\/em>. &ldquo;Having lost in the court of public opinion, having lost elections, they&rsquo;re now going to try their hand at litigating and picking off a few liberal one-off judges here and there in order to slow the process down. But make no mistake, Laura. We are going to win. The right side of this is going to prevail. He expressed hope that Attorney General Pam Bondi, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3310934\/senate-confirms-pam-bondi-attorney-general-trump-doj\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">whom the Senate confirmed last week<\/a>, will consider these options to ensure Trump&rsquo;s vision can be carried out.<\/p>\n<p>Lee said he expects these legal setbacks to last only &ldquo;maybe a few days&rdquo; and at most two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, U.S. District Judge Angel Kelley in Massachusetts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mass.gov\/news\/nih-case-update-ag-campbell-temporarily-blocks-trump-administration-from-defunding-medical-and-public-health-innovation-research\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">issued a temporary restraining order<\/a> preventing the National Institutes of Health from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/education\/3315043\/nih-cutting-overhead-funding-for-research-at-universities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">cutting down the amount of money given to universities for &ldquo;indirect costs&rdquo; of research<\/a>.
