As chief financial officer, she was responsible for managing more than $1 trillion in funds, per the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>Roach&rsquo;s departure is the latest in a slate of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">high-profile departures<\/a>, either through resignation or dismissal, as President Donald Trump&rsquo;s administration aims to make significant changes to the federal workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The OPM has offered a resignation offer, which would pay federal employees through Sept. 30 in exchange for them to resign from their job, as it seeks to reduce the size of the government. The offer, spearheaded by the Department of Government Efficiency and Elon Musk, has a deadline of Thursday at 11:59 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The offer was sent out by the Office of Personnel Management last week with a goal of seeing 5% to 10% of the federal workforce resign.
