A subsequent 319-page report found that those accused of misconduct kept their jobs and left players vulnerable to further abuse.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We remain grateful to the many brave individuals who came forward to share their experiences, which has informed our approach to systemic reform,&rdquo; NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman said in a statement. Berman became commissioner after the allegations became public.<\/p>\n<p>The funds will go to the players who came forward with their complaints, but not every player involved is known to the public. The settlement will apply to current and past players, who will be given six months to apply for their share.<\/p>\n<p>Among the highest-paid players, annual salaries reach around $500,000.
