Governor Breaks His Own COVID Rules To Eat Fancy French Food\">years ago<\/a>, but to the Trump administration, they may as well have been made yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>United States Attorney for the District of Columbia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-just-put-pro-abortion-libs-worst-nightmare-charge-us-attorneys-office-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ed Martin<\/a> sent a letter one day after Trump retook office asking Schumer about those remarks.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I respectfully request that you clarify your comments from March 4, 2020,&rdquo; Martin wrote, citing the heated language uttered at the rally, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/\/2025\/02\/localimages\/Ed-Martin-letter-to-Schumer.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">copy<\/a> of the document obtained by the National Legal and Policy Center.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We take threats against public officials very seriously.
