LaMonica McIver of New Jersey told a group of rabid, Musk-hating, elected Democrats and protesters that they should &ldquo;shut down&rdquo; Washington, D.C., and consider themselves &ldquo;at war&rdquo; with the Trump administration, an outburst that prompted X users to suggest that McIver had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-people-behind-joe-bidens-fact-check-team-have-a-history-of-lying-to-the-american-people\/\" title=\"The People Behind Joe Biden\u2019s \u2018Fact Check\u2019 Team Have A History Of Lying To The American People\">broken federal law<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We will not take this! We will fight back!&rdquo; McIver yelled into the microphone.<\/p>\n<p>By &ldquo;this,&rdquo; the congresswoman meant Musk&rsquo;s ongoing efforts to identify and eliminate wasteful federal spending.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Specifically, over the weekend Musk and his small group of talented employees at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/doge-reports-cuts-1b-per-day-true-doge-75-2t-cuts-end-trumps-term\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Department of Government Efficiency<\/a> gained access to the U.S. Treasury payments system, which led to a series of remarkable social media posts in which Musk exposed the sinister activities of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-karoline-leavitt-pulls-insane-list-usaid-expenditures-reporter-frets-humanitarian-aid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">United States Agency for International Development<\/a>, a CIA-adjacent entity that masquerades as a foreign-aid organization while actually doing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/russia-and-china-are-trying-to-interfere-in-downballot-races-odni-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Russia and China are trying to interfere in downballot races: ODNI - Washington Examiner\">intelligence community&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s dirty work overseas.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration&rsquo;s subsequent assault on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-rocks-bill-gates-usaid-shakeup-squeezes-foundation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USAID<\/a> has driven Democrats to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/amid-dem-outrage-usaid-ernst-sets-record-straight-potentially-shuttered-agency\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nuclear levels of apoplexy<\/a>. They know, in other words, that USAID&rsquo;s exposure threatens the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ron-paul-calls-immoral-dangerous-scheme-operated-usaid-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">establishment&rsquo;s grift<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And as I close out [be]cause I know we&rsquo;ve been out here for a long time,&rdquo; McIver added, &ldquo;and g** d*** it, shut down the city! We are at war! Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/senate-votes-advance-pam-bondis-nomination-one-final-hurdle-remains\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pam Bondi<\/a>, of course, could make that initial determination.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, we may conclude with certainty that the Democrat congresswoman personified the absolute worst in her wretched party.<\/p>\n<p>For the sake of argument, let us concede that McIver&rsquo;s &ldquo;war&rdquo; rhetoric amounted to a metaphor. That does not change the fact that Democrats have grown far too comfortable spewing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/tim-walz-told-get-lawyer-msnbc-nazi-attack-elon-musk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">hyperbolic nonsense<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hakeem-jeffries-calls-violence-fight-trump-using-coded-language-protect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">violent-sounding exhortations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nor does it change the fact that Democrats seem to enjoy gathering in the streets, making threats, and wreaking havoc.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, based on their treatment of Trump and his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-surrenders-trumps-doj-turns-details-5000-bureau-employees-role-jan-6-cases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">supporters<\/a>, we know how Democrats would behave in different circumstances. They would show no mercy if the circumstances were reversed.<\/p>\n<p>Thus, one hopes that Trump and Musk will keep applying pressure where it hurts the most. Show them some consequences.<\/p>\n<p>After all, Democrats&rsquo; unhinged reaction to USAID&rsquo;s exposure shows their desperation, but it also reveals their impotence.
