It was far above the 200 foot limit.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>But it leaves key questions unanswered, particularly the cause of the error: Malfunctioning equipment? A mistake by the pilot? Some other reason?<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>The NTSB also recovered various parts of the Bombardier CRJ700 operated by American Airlines from the Potomac River.<\/p>\n<p>The parts include the &ldquo;right wing, center fuselage, part of the left wing and left fuselage, significant portions of the forward cabin and cockpit, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, tail cone, rudder, elevators, TCAS computer and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-details-emerge-about-boeing-737-that-nosedived-into-ground-a-battle-for-control-of-the-plane\/\" title=\"New Details Emerge About Boeing 737 That Nosedived Into Ground: \u2018A Battle For Control\u2019 Of The Plane\">quick access recorder<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>NTSB officials added that &ldquo;the recovered wreckage will be moved to a secure location for a wreckage layout examination.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>With respect to the Army Black Hawk, the NTSB still needs &ldquo;additional information&rdquo; to verify various data points.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In order to obtain this information, the Black Hawk needs to be recovered from the water, which is expected to take place later this week,&rdquo; the agency added.<\/p>\n<p>NTSB staffers are meanwhile transcribing the cockpit voice recorders from both aircraft, while &ldquo;synchronization work for the Black Hawk flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder is ongoing.&#8203;&#8203;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The shocking Jan. 29 accident over the Potomac River resulted in 67 total <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/two-dc-airport-workers-arrested-plane-crash-footage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deaths<\/a>, including those of the three Army soldiers aboard the Black Hawk.<\/p>\n<p>As of Tuesday, all 67 bodies were pulled from the Potomac, according to Fox.<\/p>\n<p>Transportation Secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-new-transportation-secretary-takes-a-sledgehammer-to-bidens-de-facto-ev-mandate-as-his-first-act-in-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sean Duffy<\/a> raised concerns during a Sunday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/transportation-sec-sean-duffy-says-faa-systems-antiquated-calls-more-air-traffic-controllers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a> with Fox News about the &ldquo;antiquated&rdquo; systems used by the Federal Aviation Administration and warned that there has been a &ldquo;plummet&rdquo; in air traffic control recruits.<\/p>\n<p>But he said that the American <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-passengers-downed-flight-included-american-russian-figure-skaters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">commercial<\/a> air travel system remains safe.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We have the safest skies in the whole world. Traveling by air is the safest mode of transportation,&rdquo; Duffy said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s not just <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/search-and-rescue-teams-at-site-of-indonesian-plane-crash\/\" title=\"Search and rescue teams at site of Indonesian plane crash\">air traffic controllers<\/a>, but we do have technologies on airplanes to keep them separated,&rdquo; he added. &ldquo;So, yeah, no, this is the safest system.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Duffy also criticized the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-karoline-leavitt-take-apart-dei-may-single-best-line-history-wh-news-briefings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">diversity<\/a> hiring that has occurred for air traffic controllers and said that the country should instead focus on hiring the most qualified candidates.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You can&rsquo;t focus on diversity, equity and inclusion when you try to hire air traffic controllers. You focus on the best and brightest,&rdquo; Duffy added.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I mean, again, some people like me like to have this conversation around equity. But if it&rsquo;s your pilots or if it&rsquo;s your air traffic controllers, you want the best. You want the brightest protecting yourself and your family.
