Some offers could even be rescinded, the outlet said.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration is purging federal agencies that don&rsquo;t align with its ideology or aren&rsquo;t motivated to work under them. Elon Musk&rsquo;s Department of Government Efficiency is also reducing positions within the federal government as a cost-cutting measure.<\/p>\n<p>CIA Director John Ratcliffe, who was Trump&rsquo;s CIA director toward the end of his first term, was recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3298564\/senate-confirms-trump-cia-director-national-security-cabinet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">confirmed by the Senate<\/a>. He said in his confirmation hearing that he will be hard on China and Mexican drug cartels. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To the brave CIA officers listening around the world, if all of that sounds like what you signed up for, then buckle up and get ready to make a difference,&rdquo; Ratcliffe told lawmakers. &ldquo;If it doesn&rsquo;t, then it&rsquo;s time to find a new line of work.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Democrats have lamented Trump&rsquo;s buyout offer to federal employees, which has already been accepted by thousands. The number of employees that have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3310739\/federal-employees-opting-deferred-resignations-below-white-house-goals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">chosen<\/a> to leave appears to still be below the White House&rsquo;s goals, however.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There&rsquo;s no statutory authority that I can see for the president making this offer,&rdquo; Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) told the outlet. &ldquo;The administration immediately knows, you don&rsquo;t want to work for me. They&rsquo;ll find some other way to get rid of you. You should not raise your hand.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Other Democrats believe the offer is too good to be true.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;President Trump&rsquo;s so<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-workers-choosing-deferred-resignations-below-white-house-goals\/\" title=\"... choosing deferred resignations below White House goals\">-called buyout offers<\/a> are nothing more than the latest attack on federal workers and the services they provide,&rdquo; New York Attorney General Letitia James said in a statement. &ldquo;These supposed offers are not guaranteed.
