As the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/02\/01\/nyregion\/nyu-langone-hospital-trans-care-youth.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York Times noted<\/a> on Saturday, however, the hospital system &ldquo;has not made any public announcements&rdquo; about the future of its mutilation and sterilization programs.<\/p>\n<p>Denver Health told the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/nbc-out\/out-politics-and-policy\/hospitals-pause-gender-affirming-care-trump-transgender-order-rcna190164\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Associated Press<\/a> that it would cease &ldquo;gender&rdquo; surgeries for minors to preserve its status as the recipient of more than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9news.com\/article\/news\/politics\/national-politics\/trums-federal-funding-freeze-colorado\/73-f002f02e-a82f-46b1-bb85-e27cf8bf2ad6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">$89 million tax dollars a year<\/a>. As the AP pointed out, however, it is &ldquo;unclear&rdquo; whether the hospital will continue the cross-sex hormones or puberty blockers also barred under Trump&rsquo;s order. Instead, Denver Health emphasized that Trump&rsquo;s order is &ldquo;broadly worded&rdquo; and committed to advancing radical gender ideology in ways untouched by the White House&rsquo;s reach such as transgender voice therapy, according to KUSA.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Denver Health is proud to be one of a very small number of providers of comprehensive care services to all of our patients including to LGBTQ+ and gender-diverse patients. As we navigate the order&rsquo;s requirements, we will continue to provide primary and behavioral health care to all impacted youth and will work to maintain the level of trust we have built with the LGBTQ+ community,&rdquo; Denver Health said in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9news.com\/article\/news\/local\/local-politics\/denver-health-pauses-gender-affirming-surgeries-minors-federal-funding\/73-e61f598b-e32d-474e-94b4-4b11d4c5c8af\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>UCHealth, while allegedly stopping gender surgeries and cross-sex hormones for patients under 19 years old, also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9news.com\/article\/news\/local\/local-politics\/denver-health-pauses-gender-affirming-surgeries-minors-federal-funding\/73-e61f598b-e32d-474e-94b4-4b11d4c5c8af\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">committed<\/a> to continuing &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-law-aimed-at-homelessness-takes-effect-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Florida law aimed at homelessness takes effect - Washington Examiner\">behavioral health services&#038;rdquo<\/a>; which &ldquo;will be available to help support our patients as they navigate these changes.&rdquo; VCU Health and Children&rsquo;s Hospital of Richmond at VCU <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chrichmond.org\/services\/transgender\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">are doing the same.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Children&rsquo;s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., which did not offer genital mutilation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.childrensnational.org\/about-us\/newsroom\/2025\/statement-on-executive-order\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">announced<\/a> it is &ldquo;currently pausing all puberty blockers and hormone therapy prescriptions for transgender youth patients, per the guidelines in the Executive Order issued by the White House this week.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Other hospital networks, despite receiving federal funding, were even less committed to observing Trump&rsquo;s order.<\/p>\n<p>The Children&rsquo;s Hospital of Philadelphia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.beckershospitalreview.com\/legal-regulatory-issues\/hospitals-halt-gender-care-for-minors-following-executive-order.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> it is &ldquo;closely reviewing recent government actions, including the executive order on Jan. 28&rdquo; but couched that pledge with desire &ldquo;to understand how they might impact care for the children who rely on [it],&rdquo; according to Becker&rsquo;s Hospital Review. Chicago&rsquo;s Lurie Children&rsquo;s Hospital similarly claimed it would be &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/abc7chicago.com\/post\/chicago-lurie-childrens-hospital-responds-trump-executive-order-transgender-care-claims-are-example-success\/15862052\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reviewing<\/a>&rdquo; the order but would &ldquo;continue to advocate for access to medically necessary care, grounded in science and compassion for the patient-families we are so privileged to serve.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Institutions that have made headlines for their advancement of transgenderism via surgeries and other grotesque procedures on minors are notably silent on the executive order. <\/p>\n<p>Boston Children&rsquo;s Hospital, which previously advertised its butchering of healthy kids&nbsp;in a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/08\/12\/boston-childrens-hospital-touts-hysterectomies-and-other-mutilation-for-trans-minors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">string of disturbing videos<\/a>, did not respond to The Federalist&rsquo;s request for comment. BCH&rsquo;s &ldquo;Gender Multispecialty Service&rdquo; webpage, however, is still plastered with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.childrenshospital.org\/programs\/gender-multispecialty-service\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">message<\/a> committing to advancing the physical modifications that come with radical gender ideology regardless of government attempts to end it.<\/p>\n<p>OHSU Doernbecher Children&rsquo;s Hospital in Portland, Oregon, which encouraged children it advertises mutilating and castrating to wear <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/22\/portland-childrens-hospital-instructs-kids-to-bind-their-genitals-and-solicit-sex-shops\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&ldquo;tuck friendly&rdquo; clothing and solicit sex shops<\/a>, also did not respond to The Federalist&rsquo;s request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>Turning off the federal funding faucet is a common tactic to enact top-down change, but it&rsquo;s not a guarantee. Without proper enforcement, the hospitals who claim they are complying with Trump&rsquo;s order could easily keep up their sex-swapping shenanigans just like Texas Children&rsquo;s Hospital did in defiance of Lone Star State law.<\/p>\n<p>The largest children&rsquo;s hospital in the U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/2022\/03\/08\/texas-childrens-hospital-stops-gender-affirming-care-trans-youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a>&nbsp;in 2022, shortly after Gov. Greg Abbott&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gov.texas.gov\/news\/post\/governor-abbott-directs-dfps-to-investigate-gender-transitioning-procedures-as-child-abuse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ordered<\/a>&nbsp;his Department of Family and Protective Services to investigate the &ldquo;transing&rdquo; of children as abuse, that it would no <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">longer offer chemical castration<\/a> to pediatric patients. Yet, as whistleblower Dr. Eithan Haim revealed, TCH physicians continued to perform transgender interventions on children as young as 11 years old.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration knows Haim&rsquo;s story and played a <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/01\/24\/judge-dismisses-lawfare-against-doctor-who-exposed-secret-trans-procedures-on-kids\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">crucial role<\/a> in getting the Biden administration&rsquo;s lawfare case against him dismissed, which is why it should be on high alert for rebellion from other large hospitals around the nation.<\/p>\n<p>While the medical facilities that value their allocation of tax dollars claim they will conform to Trump&rsquo;s order, many are doing so from blue states known for using their resources to challenge Trump&rsquo;s authority. <\/p>\n<p>More importantly, most are still openly devoted to advancing transgenderism.
