On the contrary, only 16% of left-wing media sources fail to win Wikipedia&rsquo;s stamp of approval,&rdquo; the report said.<\/p>\n<p>Some center-right media, such as the <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/washington-secrets\/3301782\/liberal-media-scream-vance-schools-cbs-bishops-illegal-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Washington Examiner<\/a><\/em>, made the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wikipedia:Reliable_sources\/Perennial_sources\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Wiki grade<\/a> just under the top one, &ldquo;Generally reliable,&rdquo; with a judgment of &ldquo;No consensus.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Others, including the MRC, which hosts news sites including Newsbusters, were graded a lower judgment of &ldquo;Generally unreliable.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Report author Luis Cornelio said, &ldquo;Among the effectively blackballed media sources are Breitbart, The Daily Caller, <em>Daily Mail<\/em>, Newsmax, OANN, and the Media Research Center. Meanwhile, leftist media like <em>The Atlantic<\/em>, <em>Jacobin<\/em>, <em>Mother Jones,<\/em> Pro-Publica, the<em> Guardian<\/em>, and National Public Radio are given the green light. This blatant misinformation means that Wikipedia is purposely feeding Americans information exclusively through the lens of one side of the political spectrum &mdash; the left.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Cornelio and Dan Schneider, the vice president of MRC Free Speech America, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/wikipedias-blacklist-smearing-trump-conservatives-and-the-gop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">wrote<\/a> in the <em>Daily Wire<\/em>, &ldquo;This imbalanced treatment is intentional and tactical. Due to the systemic bias in Wikipedia&rsquo;s sourcing policies, the pages on Trump&rsquo;s appointees are overwhelmingly shaped by left-leaning media, presenting a skewed, and often hostile, portrayal of these individuals.
