However, D.C. Fire Chief John Donnely said there did not appear to be any, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/live-news\/military-helicopter-crash-dc-airport\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. Figure Skating said in a statement that several skaters, coaches and their family members were on the commercial flight after attending a development camp that followed the championships that wrapped up Sunday in Wichita, Kansas.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These athletes, coaches, and family members were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">returning home<\/a> from the National Development Camp held in conjunction with the U.S. Figure Skating Championships,&rdquo; the sports body said in a statement, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/flight-crashed-was-carrying-figure-skaters-home-training-camp-rcna189963\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are devastated by this unspeakable tragedy and hold the victims&rsquo; families closely in our hearts,&rdquo; U.S. Figure Skating said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Two of those coaches were identified by the Kremlin as a Russian couple who were pairs world champions 30 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the passengers identified so far:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shishkova and Naumov won the pairs title at the 1994 world championships in Chiba, Japan.<\/p>\n<p>They competed twice in the Olympics.<\/p>\n<p>The Skating Club of Boston lists them as coaches. Their son, Maxim Naumov, is a competitive figure skater for the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Shishkova and Naumov were aboard the plane.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Unfortunately, we see that this sad information is being confirmed,&rdquo; Peskov said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There were other fellow citizens there. Bad news today from Washington. We are sorry and send condolences to the families and friends who lost those of our fellow citizens who died in the plane crash.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The scale of the tragedy made news nationwide.
