The order expresses concern that many children who undergo such procedures may deeply regret their decisions, facing lifelong consequences including infertility and\u200c health complications. \u2064It directs federal agencies to\u200d cease funding for institutions engaged in \u200cthese practices, \u200cspecifically targeting federally funded insurance programs.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the\u2064 order calls for investigations into\u2064 practices considered harmful, such \u2062as female genital mutilation, and emphasizes the need for consumer protection regarding medical misinformation on the effects of gender transition surgeries.\u200c It also advocates for legislative measures that would provide legal avenues for children harmed \u2062by these interventions and\u200d seeks the end of\u2062 reliance \u2064on certain medical organizations\u2062 accused of spreading misinformation.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, the\u2062 article \u200chighlights support from some off all federal funding and involvement in the mutilation of children 18 and under for purposes of &ldquo;transitioning genders.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/presidential-actions\/2025\/01\/protecting-children-from-chemical-and-surgical-mutilation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">order<\/a> states. &ldquo;Moreover, these vulnerable youths&rsquo; medical bills may rise throughout their lifetimes, as they are often trapped with lifelong medical complications, a losing war with their own bodies, and, tragically, sterilization.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-656482024\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The order directs all federal agencies to cut off funding to institutions that participate in the mutilation of children, as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">block federal insurance plans<\/a> from using taxpayer dollars to fund such mutilation, including the Department of Defense&rsquo;s TRICARE.<\/p>\n<p>It also directs the Department of Justice to investigate the barbarism of female genital mutilation, typically a Muslim practice, which is already barred under existing law. The Justice Department will also use consumer protection laws regarding fraud and deception under the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to go after &ldquo;any entity that may be misleading the public about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/chelsea-clinton-appears-to-call-on-facebook-to-ban-tucker-carlson-post\/\" title=\"Chelsea Clinton Appears To Call On Facebook To Ban Tucker Carlson Post\">long-term side effects<\/a> of chemical and surgical mutilation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We all know by now that so-called &lsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-failures-deepen-skepticism-of-diversity-equity-and-inclusion-efforts\/\" title=\"Federal failures deepen skepticism of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts\">gender-affirming care&#038;rsquo<\/a>; is anything but caring. There&rsquo;s a reason it&rsquo;s illegal for kids to buy alcohol, a lottery ticket, or join the military,&rdquo; Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SenTuberville\/status\/1884361691905110158\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> in a press release. Tuberville is working with Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., to <a href=\"https:\/\/cbsaustin.com\/news\/nation-world\/gop-senators-announce-stop-act-to-penalize-sex-change-procedures-for-children-roger-marshall-tommy-tuberville-transgender-lgbtq-gender-affirming-care-alabama-kansas\">enact federal legislation<\/a> to block the mutilation of children. &ldquo;Allowing our young people whose brains aren&rsquo;t fully developed to undergo a life-altering, irreversible procedure is pure insanity. This isn&rsquo;t about politics &mdash; this is about good and evil. I&rsquo;m thankful for President Trump&rsquo;s commonsense leadership to end this barbaric practice in our country once and for all.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Trump&rsquo;s order calls on Congress to pass a law creating a private right of action for children whose bodies have been destroyed by predator doctors promoting this kind of intervention. It also promotes a &ldquo;lengthy statute of limitations&rdquo; for the right of action, and looks to prioritize investigations &ldquo;to end child-abusive practices by so-called sanctuary States that facilitate stripping custody from parents who support the healthy development of their own children.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s now looking extremely likely that the ideology that destroyed my childhood and irreversibly altered my body will be completely eradicated,&rdquo; Chloe Cole, an outspoken &ldquo;detransitioner,&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ChoooCole\/status\/1884367255179599906\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> on social media reacting to the order.<\/p>\n<p>The order directs government agencies to end &ldquo;reliance on junk science,&rdquo; and specifically calls out the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) &mdash; the organization that publishes standards of &ldquo;care&rdquo; for mutilation &mdash; as a primary source for such junk science. Instead, the Department of Health and Human Services will review and publish its own best practices for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/snapchats-my-ai-is-a-dumpster-fire\/\" title=\"Snapchat\u2019s \u2018My AI\u2019 Is A Dumpster Fire\u00a0\">helping children feel comfortable<\/a> in their own bodies, as opposed to ripping them apart.<\/p>\n<p>Some legislative action is underway in the Senate, as Marshall has <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/12\/05\/republican-senator-introduces-federal-ban-on-mutilating-trans-procedures-for-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">introduced<\/a> the Safeguarding the Overall Protection of Minors Act, which would create a federal ban on child mutilation practices. The Kansas Republican also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marshall.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/senator-marshall-leads-bill-to-define-male-and-female\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">introduced<\/a> the Defining Male and Female Act in order to ensure that genders are defined based on sex and scientific reality, as opposed to random assertions from mentally unwell individuals.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<div class=\"article-author-description fst-italic\">      Breccan F.
