The acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of Texas asked to dismiss the &ldquo;Second Superseding Indictment and all open counts &hellip; with prejudice,&rdquo; according to the motion.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Friday morning, The Federalist published an article in which Haim said he was expecting potential <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/01\/24\/doctor-who-exposed-trans-procedures-on-kids-pleads-for-trump-to-stop-doj-from-jailing-him-within-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">jail time<\/a> soon. The same day, a source close to the case &mdash; who wished to remain anonymous to avoid retaliation &mdash; said the judge was going to require Haim to enter a plea deal by 9 a.m. on Monday or go to jail.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Haim, a Dallas-area doctor, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/sex-change-procedures-at-texas-childrens-hospital\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> in 2023 that TCH was performing transgender procedures on kids as young as 11. TCH <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texastribune.org\/2022\/03\/04\/texas-transgender-children-hormone-therapy\/#:~:text=Texas%20Children's%20Hospital%20in%20Houston%20has%20stopped%20providing%20hormone%20therapy,affirming%20care%20to%20their%20children.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lied<\/a> about no longer providing the procedures, which Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had classified as &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?client=safari&amp;rls=en&amp;q=texas+ag+paxton+trans+minors+child+abuse&amp;ie=UTF-8&amp;oe=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">child abuse<\/a>&rdquo; by that point. Texas has since <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/politics\/texas-supreme-court-upholds-state-ban-on-gender-affirming-care-for-transgender-minors#:~:text=The%20Texas%20law%20prevents%20transgender,to%20taper%20off%20their%20use.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">banned<\/a> gender mutilation of children.<\/p>\n<p>Former President Joe Biden&rsquo;s DOJ then engaged in extensive <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/01\/24\/doctor-who-exposed-trans-procedures-on-kids-pleads-for-trump-to-stop-doj-from-jailing-him-within-days\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lawfare<\/a> against Haim, seeking to imprison him for up to 10 years, as The Federalist previously reported. After Trump&rsquo;s order banning &ldquo;weaponization&rdquo; of the federal government, left-wing prosecutors accelerated their case.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Activists like <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/realchrisrufo\/status\/1882126157992309181\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rufo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/libsoftiktok\/status\/1882218710645318057\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chaya Raichik<\/a> &mdash; of Libs of TikTok &mdash; have recently been raising awareness about Haim&rsquo;s situation, imploring Trump to intervene. Just hours after The Federalist covered the case, Republican Sen. We are completely broke. He was forced to leave me and his newborn baby daughter in the hospital an hour after I had an emergency C-section to make a court appearance,&rdquo; Haim wrote. &ldquo;But if you ask either of us, we would do it again in a heartbeat. Because of Eithan, the world is a better place for children, including our daughter.
