Schiff claimed Trump&rsquo;s move was &ldquo;a terrible way to begin&rdquo; his second term.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platform<\/a> X, meanwhile, Pelosi called Trump&rsquo;s action &ldquo;an outrageous insult to our justice system.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Check out Schiff&rsquo;s interview with Psaki here.<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\"> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"'Obscene': Adam Schiff reacts to Trump's pardon of 1,500 Jan. 6 offenders\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/csJVJ0O5tXc?start=433&amp;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s obscene,&rdquo; Schiff said. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s a grotesque display of his new power as president to pardon these 1,500 or 1,600 people &hellip;&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Hard to imagine that we were sitting in the Capitol, the site of that attack, and hours later, the man who incited that attack pardons the people who participated in that attack.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It really is a terrible way to begin.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Actually, what&rsquo;s hard to imagine is that an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/adam-schiff-house-russian-probe-can-see-evidence-plain-sight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inveterate liar<\/a> like Adam Schiff is being taken seriously by any American network &mdash; even a liberal propaganda shill like MSNBC.<\/p>\n<p>Even in a Democratic upper echelon ripe with liars, Schiff has stood out over the years, helping to foster the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bill-barr-opens-seditious-russia-collusion-hoax\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&ldquo;Russia collusion&rdquo; hoax<\/a> into a controversy that dogged Trump&rsquo;s first term, then using his seat on Pelosi&rsquo;s &ldquo;select committee&rdquo; to investigate the Capitol incursion to turn the committee into a full-blown production aimed at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/lib-writer-shreds-jan-6-committees-trump-referral-like-magic-marker-letter-written-bozo-clown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">smearing Trump<\/a> for the history books.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that Schiff received his own pardon from outgoing President Joe Biden for his work on that committee &mdash; on literally the same day Trump was sworn in &mdash; only makes it worse.<\/p>\n<p>For the record, Schiff claims his own pardon was &ldquo;unnecessary,&rdquo; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/regulation\/court-battles\/5096383-schiff-biden-pardon-unnecessary-unwise\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Hill<\/a>, but it&rsquo;s a good bet he&rsquo;s damn glad he got it. Pelosi, it&rsquo;s worth noting, did <em>not <\/em>get&nbsp;a pardon.<\/p>\n<p>The former House speaker, however, was the architect of the Jan. 6 committee. And the woman who has never publicly acknowledged her own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/nancy-pelosi-jan-6-grandstanding-backfires-gets-reminded-role\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">degree of responsibility<\/a> for the events of that day, called Trump&rsquo;s pardon&rsquo;s &ldquo;shameful.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Tonight, the President announced pardons and commutations of sentences for those who violently attacked the Capitol and law enforcement officers on January 6th.<\/p>\n<p>The President&rsquo;s actions are an outrageous insult to our justice system and the heroes who suffered physical scars and&hellip;<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Nancy Pelosi (@SpeakerPelosi) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SpeakerPelosi\/status\/1881511876820898128?\">January 21, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It is shameful that the President has decided to make one of his top priorities the abandonment and betrayal of police officers who put their lives on the line to stop an attempt to subvert the peaceful transfer of power,&rdquo; she wrote on X.<\/p>\n<p>It was shameless, even by Pelosi standards.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout Trump&rsquo;s first term, she was the highest-ranking member of a party that made &ldquo;abandonment and betrayal of police officers&rdquo; its top priority. (It wasn&rsquo;t Republicans who were egging on the &ldquo;defund the police&rdquo; and Black Lives Matter protesters who wrought destruction on American cities in 2020.)<\/p>\n<p>And as to the &ldquo;peaceful transition of power,&rdquo; she was the leader of the party that had sought by every means to use the power of the deep state to hobble the first Trump presidency.<\/p>\n<p>It wasn&rsquo;t just &ldquo;Russia collusion&rdquo; investigation by a corruption-riddled FBI that hindered Trump. Pelosi&rsquo;s Democrats engineered Trump&rsquo;s all-but-forgotten first impeachment in 2019-20 over military aid to Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The fact that Trump&rsquo;s supposed crime stemmed from the now-well-established fact that Joe Biden&rsquo;s son, Hunter, was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/wsj-columnist-democrats-tailored-trump-impeachment-charges-protect-joe-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">acting as bagman<\/a> for a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">global influence-peddling operation<\/a> where the Biden name was the main commodity just makes Pelosi&rsquo;s effrontery even worse.<\/p>\n<p>If her social media post was an attempt to gin up the kind of &ldquo;resistance&rdquo; that progressives mounted for Trump&rsquo;s first term, the immediate responses must have been disappointing.<\/p>\n<p>Here&rsquo;s a fair sample:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Interesting that Pelosi doesn&rsquo;t care about the 49 federal USPP officers injured on May 01, 2020 in Lafayette Park.
