Initially, Giuliani faced a\u2064 considerable judgement \u200cof $148 million, from which he was already ordered to pay\u2063 $11 million. We have reached an agreement and we can now move forward with our lives.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The full details of the settlement have yet to be released, but he will be able to keep some assets that he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3139429\/giuliani-assets-risk-georgia-election-workers-pursue-defamation-claim\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">in jeopardy of losing<\/a>, including his condo in Florida, a 10-room apartment on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, a vintage Mercedes-Benz convertible, World Series rings from when he was mayor of New York, and a signed Joe DiMaggio jersey.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Until the settlement, it appeared Giuliani was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3199171\/rudy-giuliani-ordered-give-apartment-luxury-items-georgia-election-workers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">slated to lose<\/a> those assets.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Cammarata, a lawyer for Giuliani, told reporters outside of the courthouse that the negotiations were ironed out &ldquo;over the last 72 hours&rdquo; and that Giuliani was pleased with the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This resolution does not involve an admission of liability or wrongdoing by any of the Parties,&rdquo; Giuliani <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RudyGiuliani\/status\/1879965042273316996\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">said<\/a> on the matter.<\/p>\n<p>The settlement came after Giuliani was scheduled to appear in court Thursday, but he did not show up, the reason for which was not immediately clear.
