As of Thursday morning, NUCLR GOLF had more than 199,000 followers on X, suggesting prominence and credibility in golf circles.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&#128680;&#127482;&#127480;&#127942; JUST IN: President Donald Trump has won the Senior Club Championship at Trump International Golf Club Palm Beach, with a sizzling round of 68.<\/p>\n<p>(&#128248;: leomary_\/IG) <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/186LklQC94\">pic.twitter.com\/186LklQC94<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; NUCLR GOLF (@NUCLRGOLF) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NUCLRGOLF\/status\/1878572542694220034?\">January 12, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, The Palm Beach Post took the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/theyre-calling-it-the-value-meal-wars-taco-bell-enters-the-fray-with-new-7-deal\/\" title=\"They&#039;re Calling It &#039;The Value Meal Wars&#039;: Taco Bell Enters the Fray with New  Deal\">establishment media&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s default angle of skepticism toward anything reportedly good about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-biden-bristles-reporter-questions-whether-trump-deserves-credit-hostage-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, the Post asserted that &ldquo;nobody claims to have witnessed Trump play&rdquo; and that his appearance atop the leaderboard, according to other reports, &ldquo;caused surprise among attendees and followers of the event.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>O&rsquo;Leary, it seems, qualifies as &ldquo;nobody.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;And, he shot a 68!&rdquo; O&rsquo;Leary wrote on Instagram, shortly after calling the president-elect a &ldquo;gracious host.&rdquo; If that does not suggest a firsthand &ldquo;claim&rdquo; from someone present at the event, then what would?<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, if the Post made any effort to track down tournament competitors or observers, the story did not indicate it.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, to cast doubt on Trump&rsquo;s achievement, the Post relied on a three-year-old quote from professional golfer Ernie Els, who described the now-president-elect as a &ldquo;pretty good putter&rdquo; who nonetheless could stand some work on his short game.<\/p>\n<p>Who couldn&rsquo;t?<\/p>\n<p>The Post also noted that the course hosted the LPGA ADT Championship in 2006-08. And at no time in those three years did the winners of that ladies tournament shoot lower than 68.<\/p>\n<p>Trump, of course, takes his golf game seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Recall, for instance, that during President Joe Biden&rsquo;s catatonic-looking performance in his lone presidential debate on June 27, Trump grew most animated when the mentally and physically decrepit president challenged him to a golf match (a challenge from which the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-campaign-scrambles-make-excuse-trump-calls-bluff-golf-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biden<\/a> campaign later chickened out).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-backs-golf-trash-talk-impressive-display-u-s-open-champion-bryson-dechambeau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bryson DeChambeau<\/a>, 2024 U.S. Open Champion, also gushed over Trump&rsquo;s golf skills, calling them &ldquo;undeniably impressive.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-trump-flexes-golf-skills-sinks-eagle-putt-raising-thousands-wounded-veterans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Trump<\/a> even sank an eagle &mdash; golf lingo signifying two strokes under par for a hole &mdash; in DeChambeau&rsquo;s presence.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, the president-elect has passed on his love and talent for the game to his increasingly visible and obviously poised granddaughter, 17-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trumps-golf-star-granddaughter-reveals-embarrassing-thing-ever\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kai Trump<\/a>, who will play golf collegiately for the University of Miami Hurricanes.<\/p>\n<p>In short, could the president-elect, on his best day, on his own course, conceivably shoot a 68? Without question.<\/p>\n<p>For one thing, the tournament leaderboard revealed that several competitors posted scores of 73 and 74. Those are not so far off Trump&rsquo;s score as to make a 68 unfathomable.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, anyone capable of sinking an eagle putt in the presence of a U.S. Open Champion &mdash; a feat captured on video &mdash; could certainly put together a few good holes and then maintain par-level play for an entire round.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Trump reacted to Biden&rsquo;s golf challenge like a true competitor. No real man would have allowed a doddering old fool like the president to clown him on national television. For Biden, it was all theater, but for Trump it was visceral.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, Trump&rsquo;s official inaugural portrait, revealed on Wednesday, had some of his supporters on X wondering if the president-elect has aged in reverse.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Wow. However, The Palm Beach Post adopted a skeptical stance typical of establishment media regarding any positive news about Trump. They claimed that \u201cnobody claims to have witnessed Trump play\u201d and noted that his position at the top of the leaderboard surprised attendees.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Leary\u2019s firsthand account seems to be disregarded by them; he stated on Instagram shortly after calling Trump a \u201cgracious host,\u201d \u201cAnd he shot a 68!\u201d If that&#8217;s not evidence from someone present at the event, what is? Additionally, Trump&#8217;s passion for golf has been passed down to his granddaughter Kai Trump who will play collegiately for University of Miami Hurricanes.<\/p>\n<p>In summary: could it be possible for him to shoot a score like 68? Absolutely! The leaderboard showed several competitors scoring close with scores like 73 and 74\u2014not far off from Trump&#8217;s achievement\u2014and anyone capable of making an eagle putt in front of a U.S. Open Champion could certainly maintain par-level play throughout an entire round.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s reaction during Biden&#8217;s challenge reflected true competitiveness; no real man would let someone like Biden mock him publicly without responding seriously.
