The pair developed a reputation for brutality.<\/p>\n<p>In one instance, they and other Sailors members attacked two <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-education-sec-on-womens-school-sports-we-have-a-legal-responsibility-to-include-transgender-athletes\/\" title=\"Biden Education Sec On Women\u2019s School Sports: We Have a \u2018Legal Responsibility\u2019 to Include Transgender Athletes\">high school students<\/a>, 15-year-old Nisa Mickens and 16-year-old Kayla Cuevas, with baseball bats and a machete.<\/p>\n<p>Cuevas had apparently been known for disputing with associates of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-fears-ms-13-alliance-notorious-bloodthirsty-venezuelan-gang-brewing-nyc-already-major-damage\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MS-13<\/a>. Members of the gang spotted Cuevas and Mickens walking down a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-does-this-video-show-hamas-rockets-in-a-gaza-residential-area\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Does This Video Show Hamas Rockets In A Gaza Residential Area?\">residential street<\/a> one evening in September 2016.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Several MS-13 members then chased down and attacked both Cuevas and Mickens, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/san-francisco-moms-mugged-by-kids-with-baseball-bats-what-could-be-to-blame-here-is-disturbing\/\" title=\"San Francisco moms attacked by kids wielding baseball bats, the cause is alarming.\">wielding baseball bats<\/a> and a machete, striking each of the girls numerous times in their heads and bodies, while the Saenz brothers&rsquo; car drove around watching for police,&rdquo; the Justice Department said.<\/p>\n<p>That was not the only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/two-illegal-immigrants-suspected-execution-style-murder-arrested-aurora-colorado\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brutal murder<\/a> committed by the Saenz brothers and their associates.<\/p>\n<p>Only a few weeks later, 15-year-old Javier Castillo was attacked because they thought he was a member of the rival 18th Street gang.<\/p>\n<p>Jairo Saenz and fellow MS-13 members convinced him to drive 30 miles away to smoke marijuana, then took turns &ldquo;hacking him to death with a machete,&rdquo; per the Justice Department.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Afterwards, the MS-13 members dug a hole and buried Castillo&rsquo;s body, which was not recovered until one year later, in late October 2017,&rdquo; the release added. &ldquo;Castillo was determined to have <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">suffered multiple sharp force injuries<\/a> to his head, neck, torso and extremities.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Lou Civello, the president of the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association, said in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/lame-duck-bidens-doj-gives-brutal-gang-leader-sweetheart-plea-deal-murder-spree-killed-7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">comments<\/a> to Fox News that Jairo Saenz did not deserve the plea deal.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s disgraceful. It&rsquo;s an insult to the families,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;When you look at how barbaric these crimes were, murdering young kids with machetes, baseball bats, this is a clear case for the death penalty.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Civello noted that Saenz may only face six years in prison for each murder if the sentence is toward the bottom of the range.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re always grateful for the federal partnership and the resources they bring to the table, but at the same time, we need justice, that&rsquo;s the important part,&rdquo; he continued.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;If it were true justice, this person should never see the light of day again.
