read the post. &ldquo;We have no doubt that Ms. Bondi is the right person to lead the Justice Department, and we fully support President-elect Trump&rsquo;s efforts to get the right people confirmed and in place to begin his Administration&rsquo;s immediate efforts to secure our country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The organization lauded Bondi&rsquo;s background, experience, and other credentials, specifically recognizing her previous work in cases involving the opioid crisis and drug trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Ms. Bondi is a proven leader and dedicated public servant who has shown that she has the experience, integrity, and fortitude to lead the Department of Justice,&rdquo; the NBPC said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;She never backed down from a challenge and worked diligently to mitigate the opioid crisis, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-names-official-to-help-reverse-trump-era-immigration-policies\/\" title=\"Biden Names Official To Help Reverse Trump-Era Immigration Policies\">combat drug trafficking<\/a>, and lower crime in Florida,&rdquo; the union touted. &ldquo;Ms. Bondi&rsquo;s work exemplifies the rule of law, and she has been endorsed for U.S. Attorney General by state Attorneys General on both sides of the aisle.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Bondi&rsquo;s <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/3288411\/takeaways-pam-bondi-confirmation-hearing\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confirmation hearing<\/a> was on Wednesday morning. She was well-received by Republicans in the Senate, but, expectedly, things were not as positive in her interactions with Democrats. Bondi engaged in several contentious moments with Democratic senators during her hearing, most notably Sen. Adam Schiff (D-CA), a political nemesis from Trump&rsquo;s impeachment trial in 2020.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Despite the objections, Bondi&rsquo;s confirmation approval is expected without any hiccups. The only delay will be due to the Democrats&rsquo; stated intention to delay Bondi&rsquo;s committee vote by a week, something Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) said was permitted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re going to exercise our rights under the committee rules,&rdquo; Durbin said.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, whenever Bondi is confirmed as the next U.S. Attorney General, the NBPC will applaud and welcome her position.
