What Caldwell said in response was too vile even to commit to print.<\/p>\n<p>Then, Basara tried to defend Keller.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;OK, well, don&rsquo;t call her a dumb c***,&rdquo; the fiance said.<\/p>\n<p>But the Eagles fan doubled-down on his unfathomable ugliness.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;She&rsquo;s an ugly, dumb c***,&rdquo; Caldwell replied.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You gonna do anything?&rdquo; the hideous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dei-cripple-la-fire-departments-response-wildfires-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DEI<\/a> consultant asked second later, suggesting that he sought a physical confrontation.<\/p>\n<p>Few videos have ever more obviously required a warning label for vulgarity than this one. This separation is effective immediately. We condemn our former employee&rsquo;s conduct in the strongest possible terms. This individual&rsquo;s conduct and language were vile, disgusting, unacceptable, and horrific and have no place in our workplace and society. Such conduct is not who we are and not what we stand for,&rdquo; the company&rsquo;s statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Then came a plea for mercy that has merit only if preceded by repentance.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;At the same time, again to be true to our values, we can condemn the actions without condemning the individual. None of us deserve to be remembered for actions taken on our worst day. We have offered grace and support to our former employee,&rdquo; the statement read.<\/p>\n<p>Notwithstanding its grace toward Caldwell, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bctpartners.com\/about-bct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BCT Partners<\/a> has articulated a predictably loathsome mission statement.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;To harness the power of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dei-hunter-claims-another-victim-latest-mega-corp-back-off-diversity-policies-thanks-pressure\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">diversity<\/a>, insights, and innovation to transform lives, accelerate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-harris-breaking-ten-commandments-part-ten-sin-center-equity-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">equity<\/a>, and create lasting change,&rdquo; the company&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/skidmore-college-refuses-to-recognize-club-due-to-troublesome-pro-israel-stance\/\" title=\"Skidmore College Refuses To Recognize Club Due to \u2018Troublesome\u2019 Pro-Israel Stance\">mission statement read<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Eagles fans have added yet another line to their collective resume of ugliness.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedp.com\/article\/2020\/12\/penn-football-franklin-field-eagles-santa\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Daily Pennsylvanian<\/a>, Eagles fans in 1968 took out their frustration over a 2-11 season by booing a man dressed as Santa Claus &mdash; yes, Santa Claus &mdash; and pelting him with snowballs.<\/p>\n<p>More than three decades later, thousands of fans of the 1999 Eagles cheered what turned out to be a career-ending spinal injury to Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin, per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com\/news\/today-in-philly-sports-history-eagle-fans-cheer-irvins-career-ending-injury\/310479\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC Sports Philadelphia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To their credit, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/philadelphia-eagles-issue-statement-team-branded-kamala-ads-spotted-around-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eagles<\/a> fans horrified by Caldwell&rsquo;s behavior immediately took action.<\/p>\n<p>Philadelphia sports podcaster Derrick Gunn, for instance, posted an update to X on Tuesday, indicating that the team had banned Caldwell for life from all Eagles games and, moreover, would send Keller Packers gear by way of apology.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Here&rsquo;s an update &hellip; Big Dom has identified the guy and woman involved in this incident .. the guy will be banned from future Eagles games .. the eagles will be sending the woman packers gear as an apology .. Nor does ghastly behavior from one of their own even constitute the real story here.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, the real story involves a DEI-focused consulting firm&rsquo;s call for mercy for one of its now-former employees.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine, for instance, the shoe on the other foot. Imagine that two Packers fans had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-co-resident-kicked-city-council-misgendering-attacking-law-allowing-criminals-change-identities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">misgendered<\/a> a BCT employee or perhaps posted something truthful about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/court-greenlights-testing-george-floyds-heart-tissue-bid-prove-new-cause-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">George Floyd<\/a> and the 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/chaos-erupts-outside-courthouse-daniel-penny-acquittal-blm-leader-calls-black-vigilantes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Black Lives Matter<\/a> riots on social media.<\/p>\n<p>In that case, would a DEI-focused consulting firm have called for grace? Before the birth of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/corrupt-end-biden-admin-sues-elon-6-days-trump-throws-ears\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Elon Musk&rsquo;s<\/a> X, would it have called off the cancel-culture attack dogs?<\/p>\n<p>Christians, of course, must hate the sin and love the sinner. But forgiveness does not mean the immediate cessation of obloquy.
