because lawfare specialist Jack Smith said so.<\/p>\n<p>Smith, the former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/special-counsel-durhams-protect-the-establishment-approach-is-destroying-the-country\/\" title=\"Special Counsel Durham\u2019s Protect-The-Establishment Approach Is Destroying The Country\">special counsel charged<\/a> with weaponizing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/president-trump-please-pardon-jon-woods-a-victim-of-process-crimes-like-michael-flynn\/\" title=\"President Trump, Please Pardon Jon Woods, a Victim of Process Crimes Like Michael Flynn\">justice system<\/a> to go after Trump, released his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justice.gov\/storage\/Report-of-Special-Counsel-Smith-Volume-1-January-2025.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">report on the Jan. 6 prosecution<\/a>, which was designed for a woefully uncurious media complex to regurgitate nonsense about the bogus case.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Department&rsquo;s view that the Constitution prohibits the continued indictment and prosecution of a President is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the Government&rsquo;s proof, or the merits of the prosecution, which the Office stands fully behind,&rdquo; he wrote. &ldquo;Indeed, but for Mr. Trump&rsquo;s election and imminent return to the Presidency, the Office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>That&rsquo;s all she wrote, as far as the gleeful stenographers in corporate media were concerned. Smith made it easy for them &mdash; they didn&rsquo;t even have to read the report &mdash; all they had to do was skip to the last paragraph to find what Smith wanted them to write about. And they did, <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-special-counsel-aileen-cannon-d7be86dad89227f12a6f5aac3433b202\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">time<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/01\/14\/g-s1-42358\/trump-jack-smith-election-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">time<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/justice-department\/justice-dept-sends-congress-jack-smiths-report-trumps-effort-overturn-rcna187492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">time<\/a> again.<\/p>\n<p>What is perhaps most unsettling about how the media conducted itself is that it is essentially a job requirement for any prosecutor to believe their case would be successful, otherwise there would be significant questions as to why the case was being brought in the first place. Regardless of the fact that there was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/11\/25\/jack-smiths-end-of-lawfare-charges-against-trump-proves-it-was-a-political-witch-hunt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">never any veracity to the case<\/a>, the media took Smith&rsquo;s obligatory belief in a successful prosecution as proof that Trump was clearly guilty.<\/p>\n<p>That is like saying a person is guilty of murder because a district attorney brought murder charges &mdash; no trial necessary.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The liberal media want one last sugar high off of their precious Jack&rsquo;s investigation and throwing in a few extra huffs and puffs to court Smith for a future contributor gig and\/or interview. Between all the liberal networks and book publishers, it&rsquo;ll be a cat-fight for his services,&rdquo; Curtis Houck, managing editor of NewsBusters, told The Federalist. &ldquo;As we saw with the Mueller probe and their infatuation since with his lead attack dog Andrew Weissmann, the hero worship of Smith will continue to take on an almost erotic status in the eyes of some loons on MSNBC and the lefty blogosphere.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Smith included other self-aggrandizing lines, allowing the liars in the media to continue giving him the hero-of-the-republic treatment they always have.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Special counsel Jack Smith said his team &lsquo;stood up for the rule of law,&#8217;&rdquo; The Associated Press <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-special-counsel-aileen-cannon-d7be86dad89227f12a6f5aac3433b202\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declared<\/a>, insisting, &ldquo;The document is expected to be the final Justice Department chronicle of a dark chapter in American history that threatened to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power, a bedrock of democracy for centuries, and complements already released indictments and reports.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Democracy and the peaceful transfer of power were never close to being threatened, and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/01\/15\/jack-smiths-report-proves-the-media-were-always-lying-about-j6-insurrection\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Smith himself laid that out in the report<\/a> when he detailed how Jan. 6 was never an &ldquo;insurrection,&rdquo; as the media always claimed.<\/p>\n<p>The report allowed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2025\/01\/14\/g-s1-42358\/trump-jack-smith-election-report\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NPR<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/justice-department\/justice-dept-sends-congress-jack-smiths-report-trumps-effort-overturn-rcna187492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NBC<\/a>, The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/national-security\/2025\/01\/14\/takeaways-jack-smith-trump-jan-6-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Washington Post<\/a>, and many more to treat Trump&rsquo;s re-election as a mere technicality standing in the way of a sure-fire conviction. Insurrection? Well, that couldn&rsquo;t be proven on a technicality, too. Smith said the law was too old.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Deranged Jack Smith was unable to successfully prosecute the Political Opponent of his &lsquo;boss,&rsquo; Crooked Joe Biden, so he ends up writing yet another &lsquo;Report&rsquo; based on information that the Unselect Committee of Political Hacks and Thugs ILLEGALLY DESTROYED AND DELETED, because it showed how totally innocent I was, and how completely guilty Nancy Pelosi, and others, were,&rdquo; Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TruthTrumpPosts\/status\/1879059532388729327\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said on social media<\/a> after the report was released. &ldquo;Jack is a lamebrain prosecutor who was unable to get his case tried before the Election.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>      Breccan F.
