As such, the only choice Democratic lawmakers have right now is &ldquo;try to be successful&rdquo; and find common ground with Trump&rsquo;s agenda and the Republican lawmakers working to enact it.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3283354\/trump-hosting-lawmakers-mar-a-lago-what-to-know\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">TRUMP HOSTS ARRAY OF LAWMAKERS AT MAR-A-LAGO: HERE&rsquo;S WHAT TO KNOW<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;It&rsquo;s not going to be easy, but there&rsquo;s a time limit,&rdquo; Sununu said on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>One Nation with Brian Kilmeade<\/em>. &ldquo;I know we&rsquo;d like to do it forever, but Trump has to take advantage, I think, of the next two to six months. That&rsquo;s when the biggest and strongest wave of political momentum will exist, and he&rsquo;ll take advantage. Will Congress respond? I know Speaker Johnson will, I think Thune will, but will the membership in that very narrow margin that they have right now understand that you get it done now or you get nothing done. And if they can do that, if they can coalesce around it, the sky&rsquo;s the limit.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 100%; max-width: 640px; max-height: 360px; min-width: 320px; min-height: 180px; overflow: hidden;\">\n<div style=\"position: relative; width: 100%; padding-top: 56.25%;\"><iframe src=\"https:\/\/share.grabien.com\/share.php?id=2751836&amp;userid=11311&amp;loginid=9421&amp;playercolor=%23000000&amp;playersize=auto&amp;code=5e9790a24734ccbb84d27bb4e5543613\" style=\"position: absolute; top: 0px; left: 0px; width: 100%; height: 100%; border: 0px;\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The former governor then listed a few actions Trump could take without needing the help of Congress, such as resolving the global conflicts in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/europe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Europe<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/middle-east\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Middle East<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/israel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Israel<\/a>, for instance, is &ldquo;ripe&rdquo; for reaching a peace deal that could last for six months to two years, and the war in Ukraine can also be resolved since both <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Ukraine<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/russia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Russia<\/a> are &ldquo;exhausted&rdquo; from their conflict.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>One point of criticism that Sununu had on Trump was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3277068\/trump-softens-one-big-reconciliation-bill-open-two-track-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-cant-deny-responsibility-for-our-so-so-divided-nation\/\" title=\"Biden Can\u2019t Deny Responsibility For Our \u2018So, So Divided\u2019 Nation\">president-elect&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s initial preference for &ldquo;one big beautiful bill&rdquo;<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/congress\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Congress<\/a> to enact his agenda, as the former governor argued that he prefers breaking bills down into multiple smaller bills. As such, he advised Trump to &ldquo;take the easy stuff first&rdquo; with smaller bills, as this tells the public &ldquo;you are there to get stuff done&rdquo; and help voters support the president&rsquo;s vision for the nation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the end of 2024, Sununu assured that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3273752\/chris-sununu-says-room-to-criticize-trump-within-gop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">there is still room within the Republican Party to criticize Trump<\/a>, who has been widely considered the &ldquo;standard-bearer&rdquo; of the party. He cited Trump&rsquo;s nomination of former Rep. Matt Gaetz for attorney general as proper criticism of the president&rsquo;s decision, as Gaetz later withdrew his nomination and Trump then nominated Pam Bondi instead.<\/p>\n<p>Trump will be inaugurated as president again on Jan. 20. Ahead of his inauguration, Gov.
