of &#039;McCarthyism&#039;\">race-based affirmative action programs<\/a> at colleges and universities are unconstitutional.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/michelletravis\/2024\/12\/22\/the-supreme-court-case-that-will-fuel-the-corporate-dei-debate-in-2025\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forbes<\/a> reported last month that the Supreme Court is set to rule later in 2025 in a case that challenges corporate DEI programs in light of the court&rsquo;s previous decision regarding colleges.<\/p>\n<p>Several companies have recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bullying-works-worlds-largest-retailer-ditching-diversity-nonsense\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ended or rolled back their DEI programs<\/a> following successful pressure campaigns from conservative activist Robby Starbuck.<\/p>\n<p>Those firms include <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/mcdonalds-walmart-companies-rolling-back-dei-policies\/story?id=117469397\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">McDonald&rsquo;s<\/a>, Walmart, Ford, Jack Daniels, and Boeing.<\/p>\n<p>Axios also reported that last week Meta &ldquo;replaced president of global affairs, Nick Clegg, with Joel Kaplan, a prominent Republican who is now chief global affairs officer.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The latest move to end DEI progams at Meta comes days after Zuckerberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mark-zuckerberg-axes-politically-biased-fact-check-system-announces-massive-free-speech-moves-facebook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced<\/a> that the company was ending what he described as its &ldquo;politically biased&rdquo; fact-checker program in favor of a community notes model like the one used on X.<\/p>\n<p>Meta meanwhile pledged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-gets-official-backing-zuckerbergs-meta-didnt-even-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">$1 million for Trump&rsquo;s inaugural fund<\/a>&nbsp;and placed UFC president <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/facebook-going-full-maga-dana-white-joins-meta-board-directors-zuckerberg-promises-free-speech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dana White<\/a>, a Trump ally, on its board of directors.<\/p>\n<p>Zuckerberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2024\/11\/27\/us\/politics\/mark-zuckerberg-trump-meeting.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">met with Trump<\/a> at Mar-a-Lago in late November.<\/p>\n<p>The Meta CEO told podcast host Joe Rogan in an episode published on Friday that he&rsquo;s &ldquo;optimistic&rdquo;
