The simultaneously infuriating and blood-curdling descriptions of the violations those girls suffered are only compounded by the British authorities&rsquo; complicity in and cover-up of the abuse.<\/p>\n<p>The first reports on these crimes came out in the early 2000s, and the grooming gangs may go back <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefp.com\/p\/muslim-grooming-gangs-cover-up-keir-starmer-elon-musk?utm_campaign=260347&amp;utm_source=cross-post&amp;r=1fvxy&amp;utm_medium=email\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">as far as<\/a> the 1970s. And though this scandal has reappeared multiple times since then, only growing the list of victims, those in power have done outrageously little to stop it.<\/p>\n<p>Despite years of reports about these crimes, local officials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/01\/07\/world\/europe\/uk-grooming-gangs-elon-musk.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">turned a blind eye<\/a> to what was happening in dozens of cities. Police refused to investigate. In multiple cases, the police <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1875931711248474433\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">arrested fathers<\/a> who had tracked down the locations used by the rape gangs to abuse young girls. In others, the victims found themselves arrested for &ldquo;breach of the peace&rdquo; while the perpetrators got off scot-free. The British Home Office, the office within the British government responsible for law and order, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefp.com\/p\/muslim-grooming-gangs-cover-up-keir-starmer-elon-musk?utm_campaign=260347&amp;utm_source=cross-post&amp;r=1fvxy&amp;utm_medium=email\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">advised<\/a> in 2008 against the prosecution of &ldquo;grooming gang&rdquo; members, claiming that their victims had &ldquo;made an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/nazirafzal\/status\/1217820737165307905?mx=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">informed choice<\/a>&nbsp;about their sexual behavior.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>British leftists <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gbnews.com\/news\/leaked-home-office-report-brands-grooming-gangs-right-wing-extremist-grievance-narrative\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hurled<\/a> accusations of racism and Islamophobia at those who tried to speak up. And, of course, the British media joined in lockstep with politicians to downplay and bury the stories. Even so-called &ldquo;conservatives&rdquo; helped cover it up. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in 2019 that further investigation into the crimes would be a waste of time, and his government <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/uk\/home-news\/grooming-gang-rotherham-review-home-office-findings-a9344896.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> that releasing the government&rsquo;s official review of the scandal to the public was not in the &ldquo;public interest.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Why? Officials wanted to maintain good &ldquo;community relations,&rdquo; which is code for maintaining racial harmony with Britain&rsquo;s large immigrant Muslim population. The police <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SAshworthHayes\/status\/1876998030072701162\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">knew<\/a> that the culprits were predominantly men from countries like Pakistan and Bangladesh, but they &ldquo;were told to try and get other ethnicities.&rdquo; British politicians feared that reports of the rapes would turn Britain&rsquo;s white native population (and anyone with a soul) against Muslims. <\/p>\n<p>This atrocity should go down as one of the great betrayals of a people by their government. A government dismissing and covering up abominable criminal activity inflicted en masse against its native population by imported foreigners in the name of racial &ldquo;harmony&rdquo; should horrify any reasonable citizen. What&rsquo;s more terrifying: The conditions that allowed these vile crimes to take place in the U.K. are already in place in some jurisdictions in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Much like the U.K. government, the Biden administration has done close to nothing to stem the flood of aliens pouring into our country or <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/15\/president-joe-bidens-border-invasion-victimizes-young-and-old-americans-everywhere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the crime that they have brought<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/09\/27\/report-647k-noncitizens-convicted-or-suspected-of-homicide-other-crimes-are-not-in-ice-custody\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to data<\/a> released by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in September, nearly 650,000 illegal immigrants convicted or suspected of serious crimes roam free within the United States. Of those, over 13,000 have been convicted of murder, 2,500 for kidnapping, and nearly 16,000 for sexual assault. Numerous <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/07\/02\/counting-the-most-horrific-crimes-allegedly-committed-by-illegals-who-crossed-the-border-under-bidens-watch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cases<\/a> of illegal aliens allegedly <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/21\/us-news\/massachusetts-illegal-immigrants-arrested-by-ice-for-rape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">raping children<\/a> have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.gov\/news\/releases\/ero-boston-arrests-guatemalan-national-charged-rape-child-force\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emerged<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.gov\/news\/releases\/ero-boston-arrests-haitian-national-accused-raping-child-massachusetts-migrant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">across the country<\/a> under President Joe Biden&rsquo;s watch.<\/p>\n<p>The American propaganda press has consistently parroted the <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">left-wing talking point<\/a> that illegal aliens commit crimes <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/07\/10\/the-left-misrepresents-stats-to-deceptively-claim-illegals-are-less-likely-to-commit-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">at a lower rate<\/a> than native citizens. Researchers at the Center for Immigration Studies have argued that scholars have misused crime data to peddle their preferred narrative. The researchers found that illegal aliens &ldquo;have above average conviction rates for homicide and sexual assault&rdquo; when using the correct data. Additionally, the media have <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/30\/dishonest-media-dismiss-illegal-immigrant-cartel-violence-near-denver\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dismissed<\/a> concerns about Venezuelan gangs taking over whole apartment buildings near Denver, and they have consistently <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/08\/15\/heres-how-the-media-are-lying-right-now-violent-crime-dropping-edition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">parroted<\/a> the FBI&rsquo;s lie that violent crime has decreased by &ldquo;historic&rdquo; proportions.<\/p>\n<p>Much like the examples in the U.K. where police arrested fathers who tried to rescue their daughters from the rape gangs, prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/12\/09\/prosecuting-daniel-penny-was-an-irreparable-miscarriage-of-justice-new-york-owes-him-a-massive-payout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sought<\/a> to punish Daniel Penny for the supposed crime of defending himself and other innocents from a raving lunatic on the New York City subway. Though a jury acquitted Penny, his lengthy trial, public exposure, and legal bills could have a chilling effect among other would-be heroes.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, federal and state prosecutors have implemented policies that have allowed crime to skyrocket across the country in the name of righting supposed racial wrongs. District attorneys concerned with &ldquo;restorative justice&rdquo; in major cities like New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/opinion\/new-group-woke-prosecutors-dangerous-justice\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">simply stopped<\/a> prosecuting criminals, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/chicago-prosecutor-declines-charge-dangerous-colombian-migrant-shooting-death-17-year-old\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">including illegal aliens<\/a>, for so-called &ldquo;minor&rdquo; offenses and have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritage.org\/crime-and-justice\/commentary\/its-not-just-rising-crime-rogue-prosecutors-are-huge-problem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">pushed for<\/a> the elimination of cash bail, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/waiting-for-the-insanity-to-stop-gov-kim-reynolds-slams-bidens-failures-in-gop-response-to-sotu\/\" title=\"\u2018Waiting For The Insanity To Stop\u2019 \u2014 Gov. Kim Reynolds Slams Biden\u2019s Failures In GOP Response To SOTU\">letting criminals run loose<\/a> on the streets.<\/p>\n<p>The Department of Justice has also neglected to prosecute criminal aliens, according to a letter from March. Four Republican House members from California demanded to know why federal prosecutions against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-biden-flying-illegal-aliens-deported-by-trump-back-to-u-s\/\" title=\"Joe Biden Flying Illegal Aliens, Deported by Trump, Back to U.S.\">previously deported illegal aliens<\/a> with prior criminal convictions in the Central District of California &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/calvert.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/rep-calvert-demands-answers-biden-doj-decrease-repeat-offender-illegal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dropped<\/a> from 188 cases in 2018 to only FIVE in 2023.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Some of these&nbsp;illegal immigrants&nbsp;are convicted criminals who pose a serious threat to the safety and well-being of our communities,&rdquo; the letter stated, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/lawmakers-doj-declined-prosecute-illegal-immigrants-deported-criminal-conviction\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">according<\/a> to Fox News. &ldquo;However, it has come to our attention that the DOJ has been systematically reducing the prosecution of illegal immigrants previously deported who have a criminal violation.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The brutal murder of 22-year-old Georgia nursing student Laken Riley by Venezuelan illegal immigrant Jose Ibarra encapsulates the ways in which the U.S. has set up the conditions for an atrocity like the U.K. rape gangs to take place here.<\/p>\n<p>Border Patrol agents apprehended Ibarra when he initially crossed the border but&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/laken-riley-murder-trial-jose-ibarra-verdict\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">let him go<\/a>. New York police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsbtv.com\/news\/local\/clarke-county\/jose-diego-ibarra-court-documents-reveal-immigration-criminal-past-united-states\/SPXOP242MNF3NPCCRCCB4DZSQU\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">charged<\/a> him with &ldquo;reckless endangerment of a child,&rdquo; yet he remained in the country. Ibarra&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/11\/18\/us-news\/laken-riley-suspect-jose-ibarra-may-have-taken-humanitarian-flight-from-nyc-to-georgia-before-murder-ex-roommate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">then traveled down<\/a>&nbsp;to Georgia aboard a free flight funded by taxpayer dollars courtesy of the Biden-Harris administration. Local officials for Athens-Clarke County <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/11\/07\/voters-oust-soros-backed-da-who-oversaw-sanctuary-city-policies-in-county-where-laken-riley-was-murdered\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fostered<\/a> sanctuary city policies, and District Attorney Deborah Gonzalez <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/houstongaines\/status\/1762112385895055833?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1762112385895055833%7Ctwgr%5E490d1cdc599a85162f2f8c631dba174924ff0588%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fthefederalist.com%2F2024%2F11%2F20%2Fnot-giving-laken-rileys-killer-the-death-penalty-is-a-miscarriage-of-justice%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">promised<\/a> to take into account &ldquo;the collateral consequences to undocumented defendants&rdquo; when bringing charges. And the media <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/26\/corporate-media-cover-for-bidens-border-invasion-by-pretending-laken-riley-murder-suspect-wasnt-an-illegal-crosser\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ran cover<\/a> for Biden&rsquo;s disastrous border policy by initially denying and downplaying Ibarra&rsquo;s status as an illegal alien with a criminal history.<\/p>\n<p>The British government had opportunity after opportunity to stop the Pakistani rape gangs before they brutalized thousands of girls, just as the U.S. justice system had multiple chances to stop Jose Ibarra before he murdered Laken Riley. But both governments failed at each step, largely due to the insane obsession with elevating the comfort of foreign immigrants above the rights and safety of native citizens.<\/p>\n<p>The horrendous scandal in the U.K. and the continuing crime wave unleashed by illegal aliens here in the U.S. should open people&rsquo;s eyes to the fact that our justice system is failing our own people. Every government has the basic duty to defend its citizens, but right now, in the name of &ldquo;harmony&rdquo; or some other leftist talking point, certain jurisdictions in this country intentionally fail to do that.
