I talked to the incoming team. No one knows anything about this,&rdquo; said Homan when asked about an NBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/investigations\/trump-raid-undocumented-immigrants-washington-dc-high-profile-rcna186780\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">report<\/a> that alleged a &ldquo;high-profile raid&rdquo; was in the plans for the initial days of Trump&rsquo;s second term.<\/p>\n<p>The Trump administration plans to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/congressman-from-texas-warns-that-venezuelan-gang-is-consolidating-power-in-america-amid-open-border\/\" title=\"Texas Congressman Raises Concerns About Venezuelan Gang Gaining Influence Through Open Border Policy\">deport criminal illegal immigrants<\/a> and anyone who an immigration judge has already ordered to be removed from the country, totaling a million to 2 million people. Under the Biden administration, the Department of Homeland Security started prioritizing people with serious criminal convictions as opposed to focusing on employers who have illegal immigrants on the books.<\/p>\n<p>Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a DHS agency, employs 7,000 officers who conduct 250,000 deportations a year, according to the agency. If Trump&rsquo;s administration wanted to quadruple this number, as Trump has promised, training academies would likely be unable to handle a deluge of new hires.<\/p>\n<p>Trump nominated Gov.&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kristi-noem\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kristi Noem<\/a>&nbsp;(R-SD)&nbsp;to serve <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3255731\/trump-dhs-kristi-noem-senate-confirmation-path\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">as DHS secretary<\/a>&nbsp;in his second administration a week after he won the election.<\/p>\n<p>He also announced immigration hawks Stephen Miller and Homan for key roles in the White House to carry out the deportation of illegal immigrants and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trump-names-kristi-noem-as-dhs-secretary-nominee-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Trump names Kristi Noem as DHS secretary nominee - Washington Examiner\">lead border policy<\/a>. Miller will be Trump&rsquo;s deputy chief for policy. Unlike Noem, Miller and Homan will not need to be confirmed by the Senate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Homan&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/immigration\/3262116\/tom-homan-predicts-collateral-arrests-trump-mass-deportation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">told the&nbsp;<em>Washington Examiner<\/em><\/a>&nbsp;in mid-December that there would be &ldquo;a lot of collateral arrests&rdquo; in addition to those aforementioned &mdash; meaning illegal immigrant children and family members found living with criminals would also be swept up and deported.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;In sanctuary cities, expect a lot of collateral arrests,&rdquo; Homan said. &ldquo;I mean, not priority criminal arrests. We can&rsquo;t get the bad guy in jail. That means we have to go into the communities and find them, and there may be others.
