Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) said Thursday on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6366857816112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Fox &amp; Friends<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3226193\/which-biden-executive-orders-first-to-go-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>HERE&rsquo;S WHICH BIDEN EXECUTIVE ORDERS WILL BE THE FIRST TO GO UNDER TRUMP<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, the Oklahoma senator also cautioned that Trump&rsquo;s executive orders could be reversed or undone if they aren&rsquo;t backed up by congressional action.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;As he said, it&rsquo;s not permanent,&rdquo; Mullin said of the orders. &ldquo;I&rsquo;d like reconciliation so we can start making this up into legislation, so we can move forward.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2025\/01\/09\/trump-immigration-executive-orders-stephen-miller\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><em>Axios<\/em><\/a>  reported that the incoming administration intends to reinstate Title 42, a policy Trump enacted during the COVID-19 pandemic to expel migrants at the southern border. President Joe Biden ended the policy in May 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, House Republicans are also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3281057\/republicans-look-revive-trump-remain-in-mexico-gop-trifecta\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">working on legislation<\/a> that would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-administration-mounts-losses-in-supreme-court\/\" title=\"Biden Administration Mounts Losses in Supreme Court\">require asylum-seekers<\/a> to &ldquo;Remain in Mexico&rdquo; until their court dates in the United States. Biden also ended the policy that was enacted under Trump&rsquo;s first administration.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Examiner<\/em> reached out to the Trump transition team for comment about the executive actions.  <\/p>\n<p>Trump and his wife, Melania Trump, visited Washington, D.C., on Wednesday to pay their respects to the late former President Jimmy Carter at the Capitol rotunda. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/mike-kelly-same-people-criticizing-trump-peddled-russia-collusion-hoax\/\" title=\"Mike Kelly: Same People Criticizing Trump Peddled Russia Collusion Hoax\">president-elect<\/a> also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/3281092\/trump-downplays-strategy-fight-huddle-senate-republicans-unity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">met with GOP senators<\/a> to strategize on a path forward to pass his agenda. Trump attended Carter&rsquo;s funeral on Thursday, where he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3281405\/trump-shakes-hands-pence-chats-obama-carter-funeral\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"shook hands\">shook hands<\/a> with his estranged former Vice President Mike Pence and had an animated conversation with former President Barack Obama.<\/p>\n<p>The main disagreement is whether Republicans should focus on a&nbsp;one- or two-bill strategy through the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3277068\/trump-softens-one-big-reconciliation-bill-open-two-track-process\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">budget reconciliation process<\/a>. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) supports one major bill despite his tight margin of control. Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) has pushed for two bills, prioritizing a border and energy bill first before a second bill focusing on taxes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3244616\/trump-energy-agenda-second-term-closer-look\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>TRUMP&rsquo;S ENERGY AGENDA IN THE NEXT ADMINISTRATION: A CLOSER LOOK<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;What the president was very clear is he just wants results,&rdquo; Mullin said. &ldquo;He said he can wait if we can do one big, beautiful bill. He&rsquo;d like to have one big, beautiful, beautiful bill.
