Vance, and top advisors met with Republican senators on Capitol Hill.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2025\/01\/09\/trump-immigration-executive-orders-stephen-miller\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axios<\/a>, Trump and his team outlined plans to issue 100 executive orders early in the new administration.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, Trump voters undoubtedly will take delight in knowing that those executive orders will address the issue perhaps most responsible for Trump&rsquo;s victory in the 2024 election: illegal immigration.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, curious minds will want to know the contents of all 100 planned orders. For now, however, we will have to rest content with only a handful of them.<\/p>\n<p>Citing two sources present in the room on Wednesday, Axios reported several measures that will prioritize timeliness, manpower, and prevention.<\/p>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>First, Trump will reinstate Title 42.<\/p>\n<p>That <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/biden-takes-page-right-trumps-policy-playbook-title-42-comes-end\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">COVID-era policy<\/a> from the first Trump administration allowed for the expeditious deportation of illegal immigrants on public-health grounds.<\/p>\n<p>Second, Trump will &ldquo;[m]ore aggressively&rdquo; use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.gov\/identify-and-arrest\/287g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Section 287(g)<\/a> of the Immigration and Nationality Act. That section authorizes U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to effectively deputize state and <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">local law enforcement officials<\/a> by granting them the authority to carry out the duties of an ICE officer.<\/p>\n<p>One could scarcely overstate the importance of this measure for overall border security.
