But the danger remains very real in Southern California.<\/p>\n<p>Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/us\/tens-of-thousands-flee-as-wildfires-tear-through-los-angeles-area\/ar-AA1xapKT?ocid=msedgdhp&amp;pc=U531&amp;cvid=b3f31eba53df4d3280f02dbde87297cc&amp;ei=73\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Reuters<\/a>, as three separate fires raged, pushed by California&rsquo;s Santa Ana winds.
