The polls went back to every president since John F. Kennedy but did not include Gerald Ford or Lyndon Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>The current president had a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-trips-on-the-border\/\" title=\"Biden Trips on the Border\">net positive rating<\/a> of negative 35%, and only former President Richard Nixon&rsquo;s tenure had a lower view than Biden&rsquo;s, at a negative 42% rating. Those reflecting on President-elect Donald Trump&rsquo;s first term had more split opinions, with the former and incoming president having a net negative 4% rating.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&rsquo;s ratings have vastly improved since the 2021 survey conducted in the final weeks of his first term, when he had a net positive rating of negative 32%.<\/p>\n<p>The most favorably remembered presidencies in the survey released on Tuesday include those of Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, and Barack Obama, with net positive ratings of 68%, 38%, and 21%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Jimmy Carter, whose presidency and legacy are being celebrated this week after his death late last month, had one of the most dramatic upticks in favorability toward his presidency since leaving, according to the pollster.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Carter had a net negative 32% positive rating when he left office in December 1980 but now has a net 6% positive rating. Another president who has seen significant improvements in how they are remembered now versus when they left office is former President George W.
